Woke up to see West Ham won 3-1. Decided to just delete recorded match without watching it

Seems that Liverpool's defence is still crap, only now there is no Suarez to bail us out at the other end. It's looking like this season won't be as fun as the last one.

Kick-off was after the Arsenal-Aston Villa match so I got to watch most of it.
1st half Liverpool played terrible or to quote a fan in the stream chat window, "We're playing like United."
West Ham got the 2 goals 8 minutes in of the match
Liverpool came out with more effort in the 2nd half but West Ham decided to park it so that was that.
Didn't get to see the final West Ham goal. Bright side is I got to see Sterling score.
Liverpool still probably adjusting to the added Champions League schedule and Sturridge didn't play, Balotelli also was having one of those games where he was more concerned with a player than playing.

That was a good goal though. Sucks to see Liverpool losing. That leaky defense is really something especially without Suarez.

I just hope things improve once Sturridge comes back from injury. It's all gone downhill since he got injured during that international break.
I watched some of the Aston Villa-Arsenal game to see if Villa would play the same way as they did at Anfield. Changed the channel at 0-0 because not much was happening, a couple of minutes later changed back to the game and Arsenal were 3-0 up. Had to check the score twice

Arsenal got 3 goals in like 3 minutes. That wasn't even the surprising thing that happened in the match, it was Aston Villa in the 2nd half deciding to park it even if they were down 3 goals, like why park?

I know that the game is not yet done but that United defense maybe worse than Liverpool's.

EDIT:
5-3 what a comeback by Leicester if this falls through the end.

Seems that Mario is watching the game as well

This just confirms what I was thinking the other day. Utd's only win was at home against QPR (who are just terrible themselves). They haven't turned a corner yet.
Mon Sep 22, 2014 12:53 am
Also shows that 4-0 trashing MK Dons gave to United wasn't a fluke.

Was a good weekend for Arsenal in the top four race. Man City and Chelsea drawing, Liverpool, Tottenham, Everton and Man Utd all losing.
Who would have guessed that Southampton would be 2nd after losing all their stars in the Summer; and that Aston Villa would be 3rd after their recent relegation battles. It has only been five games though, I suppose.
And of course Mario's tweet about Utd was met by racist responses from some of their fans.
Police are investigating

Liverpool still doing things the hard way. Beat Middlesbrough 14-13 on penalties in the league cup after drawing 2-2 in normal time.
Balotelli scored two penalties and both goalkeepers scored as well

Fernando Torres might be good again.

I suppose the Italian league will suit him better now that he has lost his pace, because it's slower than the premier league.
Good luck to him. I can like him again now that he isn't playing for Chelsea

This season has been annoying enough without the referee giving West Brom a penalty for a foul that happened just outside the box

Jordan Henderson saved the day though and we got the win. It's amazing what 3 points can do. Liverpool somehow jumped from like 16th to 6th on the table and suddenly it doesn't feel like the season is a write-off anymore.
Daniel Sturridge is almost back from injury as well

And Wenger be like, "I didn't want Cesc, we have Ozil."

One of the highlights of the match.

Referee was very lenient today should have had a flurry of red cards perhaps.
Mon Oct 06, 2014 9:37 am
Because despite Wenger's obsession with attacking midfielders having five number 10 is too much.
Besides, Cesc coming back to Arsenal is like Nets Vince Carter coming back to the Toronto Raptors.

Wenger is lucky that Mourinho didn't eye gouge him like he did to that Barcelona coach a few years ago

That was Tito Villanova. R.I.P.

David Villa scored on debut for Melbourne City. Was weird seeing Pepe Reina and similar guys tweeting about the Australian league.
Check out this clown:
He obviously doesn't realise that defenders pull shirts on nearly every corner in every match and the refs don't care

Southampton cruising to an 8-0 victory over Sunderland. Liverpool buying the wrong players

Graziano Pelle looking like the better Italian striker than Balotelli.

Arsenal never winning games whenever Alexis Sanchez scores a beautiful goal.
Good thing he already won trophies with Barcelona or else he would be moving to Manchester City.

So far Pelle has looked better. He has probably had better service though to be fair. Tadic is a wizard around the box.
Everyone was expecting Balotelli to produce fireworks on and off the pitch (probably literally), but he has been subdued on both fronts so far. If he can't score at least one goal against this rubbish QPR team tonight then I might start to worry.
Especially as Daniel Sturridge injured himself again just as he was about to return. Another month without him.

Let's not forget Luis Suarez is allowed to play again now and will likely make his Barca debut in the clasico against Real. Fun.
