It's clearly not useless (although it may be to you), and I believe it will, in fact, not be available for modes outside of MyCareer.

a lot of people don't play mycareer...they just play (i like to called by old name) association...

Really? I thought i heard it in a video that is available in all modes?

but logically it should be..when they put something like that in the game,why put it just in one mode(when u have ''create player'' option in other ones also...)

Yeah, sometimes i like to just create player in the regular rosters and for exhibition play. Would suck if you can't scan your face for just regular CAP or any other mode. Count me as one of those who can't really get into MyCareer. I don't want to play against a bunch of generic created players further down my career.

It's been mentioned that it can be used for MyLEAGUE as well.

I think he mentioned you use it for your CAP, which he meant MyPlayer not knowing CAP means something else to us.

I'm assuming the functionality has been taken out of the PC version, so I wouldn't get my hopes up on that one.
