NBA Live 2004 1995/1996 Season Roster Patch

Replay one of the most exciting seasons in NBA history with the NLSC 1995/1996 Season Roster patch! Take control of your favourite NBA team with rosters accurate as of opening night, 1995. Wheel and deal players (all with their 1996 salaries and contracts) and compete for free agents at the end of the year. Will Shaq remain in Orlando, or will he sign with the Lakers like his real life counterpart?

Complete with retro courts, jerseys and faces, the 1995/1996 Season patch is one of the most detailed single season throwback roster updates to date. Play in the mid-90s with 21st Century gaming technology and replicate history...or rewrite it!

Real Salaries & Salary Cap from the 95/96 season
Accurate contract lengths - take control of Orlando and try to keep Shaq, or play as the Lakers and try to lure the Diesel to LA.
Correct player ages (note that year of birth information is inaccurate as a result)
All teams have correct coaches
Ratings adjusted to reflect player skill and performance during the 1996 season
Default playoff bracket replaced with 1996 playoff bracket

Please note that all players still have career stats through the 2002/2003 season and the game will recognise the year as being 2003 when you start a new Dynasty.

Update v1.01 (March 3rd, 2007)

I've made a small but long overdue update to the 95/96 roster patch for NBA Live 2004, adding the correct retro court for the Grizzlies as well as fixing an error with George McCloud's cyberface. You can download the updated version of the patch here.

Please note that I have no plans to undertake any other projects for NBA Live 2004, though I am always happy to add any files for older games that are submitted for inclusion in our Downloads section.

im glad you finished this great patch before 2005 comes out
1 thing though, i made shoes that gerald asked me to make for this mod and i dont see them anywhere?

I wasn't aware that you'd made the shoes - I can't find them anywhere on my hard drive.

I certainly would have included them in the initial release otherwise. (Y)

I got a problem, when i played with vancouver grizzlies their court is the houston rockets one, but they're in their home arena. Could you help me with this?

I've used "Download from Mirror #2".

It downloaded it slow and then it stopped and said it was finished (which it wasen't). So I clicked on the link again and the downloading countinued from where it stoped and holy shit, it went up in 100kb/s :shock:

and discread to it was down to 7.6kb/sec when it finished.
It took about 1h and 5minuts.

100kb/sec (thought it was just for a brief time) is pretty good for a 56k modem

Coolest patch!

I just have one question if anyone can answer for me. Is there a way to turn all these folders in xplayer into viv files? Just that I am a big fan of 'customart 0'

I just started downloading the patch. I haven't played it yet, but I know its going ot be awesome. I'm gonna do a dynasty with my hometown Pistons, maybe get shaq lol. I'll be starting a thread over i nthe dynasty section and try to keep you guys updated as much as I can. Thanks a lot!
