oh boy im sad to say but no, ,probably not

if we suppose 2k15 has about the same requierements as FIFA 15 then you need at least a geforce GTX 460, wich would still be very cheap

and you would need to upgrade your Ram vor sure 3GB is not nearly enough at least to 4gb more would be better

remember guys, this game must work almost on every computer with dx10/11, guy here asked about very low settings plus non fhd resolution probably so really no need to panic. 1gb will be absolute but still minimum to run this game.

i dont want to argue with your reason

while i agree that panic is useless :) people have to be aware that the Requierments will probably make a huge jump compared to 2k14 PC

its next(or now current^^)gen after all so you can assume that a Directx11 Graphics Cart will be requiered

but thats not that horrible news... solid cards wich will run this game on minimum can be bought for 40-50$

even if you right now lack a halfway modern GPU it wont cost you a fortune to play this game

but still i'd advise caution with setting the expected requierements to low!!

as i said before Fifa 15 should be a good reference point and needs at MINIMUM a GTX 460 or a Radeon 5770

thats minimum!

If you can read NBA2k14 on high (and maybe medium), you probably can read 2K15. At least on low. And not if you can only read 2K14 on low, that will be impossible.

guess what, im sure that we should worry about cpu, not gpu

hate to burst your bubble but thats just wrong!

we are talking about a whole new Engine here

NBA 2k14 on PC was not a demanding game at all

you cant compare that

it depends on what kind of CPU you have

the CPU of the Ps4 SOUNDS impressive but isnt that good if you really look at it

if you have a very strong Dual Core(really strong) or to be more safe a Quad Core(AMD 965, Pentium 9300-9550) you will do just fine

maybe not max but it will run good

i run quite many Games that are also on PS4 and X1 on Very High to MAX settings without Problems with my Q9550

while its old,you have to remember that is was once a Powerhouse, so if you have a strong Processor from the last 3-4 years it will do

older than that.. will be problematic

You're maybe right, but actually I don't really care, my computer will read 2K15 on Ultra (or High if there's no Ultra).
And anyway, 2K might release the minimum requirement before the game launch, that's want developpers usually do for PC games

PS4 and XB1 architecture is similar but not identical to construction of PCs. It's also a closed design which makes optimizing code for consoles way easier. That's why you shouldn't compare these specs directly.

I remember when my 486 DX40 was a powerhouse... and then my Pentium 133... and then my Pentium II...

So it'll be problematic for you cause your CPU is over 6 years old. :D

Really dude, don't try to be a tech guru when you lack knowledge in this field. Just read my response to your post and think about it. :?

Should be perfect! That's close to my set-up! I cannot wait!! I might have to upgrade my RAM to 16 though. I'm starting to notice newer games recommended RAM is 8 GB. I will have no life, starting on Oct. 7th... :applaud:

man whats wrong with me saying that this it how it runs on my rig?

regarding my CPU age.. guess what i do know that.. is just recommended a 3-4 yo CPU for people to be on the safe side
i know very well that my CPU is at the very end of its usefullness, but nonetheless it still suffices for every Game so far

and while im not working at IT i am a Gamer since 20 years so i know my share of PCs and optimization

and dont act like private Persons cant set up Pcs well !

fact is it runs like that on my PC... if that bothers or irritates you because thats not how its "supposed" to be than thats your Problem...not mine

maybe my Pc is a miracle.. who knows... but you make me look totally bad here while ive done nothing else then telling my experience

so while you may be an expert at IT you are no expert at beeing nice dude Think about that...

Well, it's time to speculate on the system requirements. Was: I want to pre-order the game, but I do not know what kind of port will be on the PC. Comes: I want to pre-order the game, but do not know whether it will go on my PC

Maybe they were overwhelmed by the news just like when 2K9 was introduced to the PC. Aahhh I can stillrember that feeling. Hyped and excited.

I'll try to be as clear as possible.
1st - I'm a tech geek. I own a beefy computer, I own 7 consoles and a mountain of tech toys not suited for a guy my age. That's why I really don't care about your machine. I don't. I'd like you to have a double CPU computer with three Titans in SLi and tons of RAM! :)
2nd - your experience is subjective. You can think that games work as smooth as silk on your machine but the next guy will tell you 'dude, it lags'. You're posting your own benchmarks and at the same time you're not recognizing professionally conducted benchmarks. :?
3rd - I'm sorry for not being nice. I hate that. But I have to be like that cause you're playing the role of tech guru. You shouldn't do that because it's bad for all the users who, potentially, can take your advice. It's a popular thing on forums. It's good for your ego, it's good for your post count, it can be good for your forum status. But it's harmful for all the people who will use the info you provide. It's so obvious that you're not knowledgeable enough, I really hate to point this to you. I don't think you're a douche or have bad intentions. No way. I just think that you're not considering that you can miserably mislead some people here. :|

whats "subjective" about fraps showing 45fps in a game? would you please tell me that??

i dont know if you read my posts carefully.. i said very clear in every post i made

"take with a grain of salt"

"better get more than i have to be safe"

"just my experience wait for the official requierments"

i said multiple times that my 4g Ram are not to be taken as a advice and that i will update this asap

also i said that my CPU is OC at 3.5GHZ

and i repeatetly corrected other users here who where claiming "who can run 2k14 on high or medium can run 2k15"

so quite on the contrary to what you see.. i do everything i can to make people cautious and rather expect too high requierements so that they are better prepared...

im worried...i have a feeling we wont be able to mod right away...we would have to spend LOTS of time on making new tools if even possible..just my thoughts, but anythings possible

There's nothing more riveting than watching children argue over PC requirements, and their prowess within the subject. Mom, the meatloaf!

Let's at least make some sort of concerted effort to keep the good vibes going with this great news, instead of coming off as this guy:

it will probably take some time the last time we got a new engine it took almost till Summer before we had real mods

but on the other hand we have alot of very talented modders here who got much more experienced and better since the last time we had a change (2k9 wasnt it?)

so who knows.. i wouldnt count on complex mods in the first months but you said it best.. anythings possible :)

on my part im done discussing with RashbaNor

everythings said on my part

its useless to debate about MY Pc... thats irrelevant i will be fine :) and if not i will upgrade simple as that
nothing else to discuss

its only natural that many here are nervous if the Game will run...it can take the wind out of your "Dancing in Happiness" Sails if you suddenly think "wait.. can i even play this???"

so the discussion is valid... but we need more infos before it makes sence

its the same in Forums like Dragon Age Inquisition or Ac:U its just speculation

we just dont know what the game needs to run at what settings

so less panic... more enjoying the day we finally get next gen! :D
