The guy who is saying this an editor for that site. Also the site is ranked pretty well on Alexa.

Benchmark.pl has a global rank of 11,191

nba-live.com has a ranking of 197,740 for comparison.

If this is true, I can guarantee somebody at 2K messed up and leaked it by accident. Let's hope we get a confirmation from somebody at 2K.

I can confirm that the editor of that website appears to claim the PC version will be the same as the PS4 and X1 versions.

Is it possible for the Previous Gen consoles to carry enough fire power to support next-gen graphics, obviously stepped down to a certain extent? The Last of Us is a beautiful game, for example. If the PS3 can handle The Last of Us, why couldn't it handle NBA 2k15 Next Gen graphics dropped down a little? Thoughts???

In my opinion it can handle nba 2k next gen like graphics but whats the use of promoting next gen gaming if they will also have the same graphics on the older consoles? They did have next like graphics in 2k11 and i think they intenionally downgraded the graphics from 2k12 onwards so that when they release it on the next gen consoles the graphics will look so upgraded from the previous gen. But thats just my observation.

I believe basketball games have more AI and more animations going on at once than most games. On the contrary, if developers have enough time, they can utilize the entire power of the ps3 cell processor architecture and create stunning games like The Last Of Us. With yearly releases of basketball games, they don't have the time.

EA should really give is one nba game for pc after 6 years of nothing. 2K need to look at best companies for games and they will see every good and popular game is next gen on pc(watch dogs, fifa 15, gta 5, bf4...)
They really suck if they give us old gen, I mean I'm getting 7950 gpu for gta 5 and now I have 650 ti boost and there is no excuses to not give us next gen.

Here is that full conversation Basket4rap was talking about:

Where can I find confirmation of the information and to make sure that the version of NBA 2K15 actually on the PC version will be the "next-gen" and not a port of X360/PS3? Because I understand that the author in this sentence "Even so, the PCs 2K15 version is now identical to the release of the console ..." was just about the fact that the PC version this year will be such as to XO/PS4;>

Basket4rap:

This information comes from one of the representatives of 2K Games and was transferred to the official demonstration game for the press, for which I had the pleasure to host. And yes - the PC version will be exactly as on the PS4 and XO :)

Great news! :) Thanks, therefore, for detailed information. There was a concern that will be like the NBA 2K14 (PC), which was based on the version of X360/PS3, and fear because 2K nothing praised until now the good news, and usually if something does not boast manufacturer , is usually no where;)

Robert,

For now, only Benchmark.pl shared with the audience the information. The rest of the sites is silent on "next-gen" NBA 2k15 on the PC. ;)
If this is true it means that someone from 2K gave body and wypeplał "thick" file, which Visual Concepts team probably wanted to wait for the launch of a marketing campaign NBA 2k15.
Presentation of the game was a "dry" (same talking heads) and showed some screenshots or would be recording gameplay? It's a shame that the NBA sacrificed barely 5 or 6 short sentences.

RashbaNor:

The amount of space devoted to NBA 2K15 stems precisely from the fact that many of the specific game in motion to show not uświadczyłem - it's probably still time to come.

Information on the PC version of NBA 2K15 passed and Mr Richard Churchill, one of the leading representatives of the 2K presentation :)

It's funny how web translators deal with polish language. :)
What Robert wrote me in his comment is 2K haven't showed the press any gameplay footage. It seems it was just talking heads when it comes to NBA 2k15 presentation. Maybe that Richard Churchill guy wasn't aware of how big of a deal the PC NBA 2k15 version is so he just carelessly slipped that info? Probably the whole presentation was focused on Evolve which 2K hopes to sell in huge numbers. The other two important games were the new Civ and new Borderlands. Sport games were just an addition.
This information got out really fast and become really popular among NBA 2K community. Can we take it as an official info? I guess so, it came out on 2K presentation from 2K employee who has pretty impressive resume when it comes to product export and PR. Mr Churchill is definitely not some intern or a guy who just got hired and doesn't have a clue about what goes where.
The other thing is... was Robert wrong? Maybe he misunderstood something? I don't think so. He was pretty sure and explicit in those comments cited above. He even gave out the name of the person who leaked the info to make his claims more feasible. :o :)

Considering that Euro teams are in 2k15, it makes sense to pitch the game internationally, so I wouldn't considerit a leak. For all we know, 2k basketball might be selling well over seas, or 2k is trying to establish it globally.

I consider it kind of a leak because, I'm sure, that's not the way Visual Concepts wanted to let PC fanbase know they'll be getting a next-gen version.

Here's a little bit more evidence that is related to the above source. I did a stalker move and Googled the supposed leaker, Richard Churchill, and found a Linked In profile: https://touch.www.linkedin.com/?sessionid=5947399816085504&as=false&can=http%253A%252F%252Fuk.linkedin.com%252Fpub%252Frichard-churchill%252F7%252Fa8%252F298&rs=false#public-profile/http%3A%2F%2Fuk.linkedin.com%2Fpub%2Frichard-churchill%2F7%2Fa8%2F298

You may have to edit the "touch" on the url to "www" if you're using a PC. I used my phone web browser to copy and paste the link.
