I will release an updated version with V-necks included within the next hour. Still needs work but it is somewhat improved. Especially when viewing from gameplay cameras.

1st post updated. Updated release.
(No jerseys appear when player models turned to low.)

V collars released and updated U collar.
Image

V collar needs work with skinnier players. As you can see above chest rips through some times.

Image

Fixed the issue with slight distortion for some jerseys. Also fixed issue with parts of the jersey coming out of the backs of players, which brings me to my big secret...... Guys this is just a sleeved jersey with sleeves taken off!!!

Image

I did not want to give it away too fast because I have been trying to figure this out since the game came out. I made took the sleeves off the sleeved model months ago. Even the "stiff" round collar jerseys are really from the sleeved _V.iff jersey model. I just made the collar round, which is why there was distortion on some jerseys. But even that has been fixed.

 In Case you wanted to know more about this discovery, see below.
If you try to use the original 2k "sleeveless" model as sleeved_v.iff, half of the arms disappears. This made me think. I discovered half the arm disappears when the game calls upon sleeved jerseys because other wise the arms would "rip" through the jersey during certain animations.

Then I knew if I could just get the sleeved models to show up as cloth_u.iff and cloth_v.iff then we could have stiff jerseys because the game recognizes that those files are real sleeveless jerseys. If you just change the name of the Sleeved_v.iff file to cloth_v.iff jerseys will not show in game. So how did I do it?
Aha that's where RED MC iff editor came in handy. If not for RED MC I would have been forced to use hex editing. But RED MC
allows you to easily......ahhhh

I will let you guys figure the rest out on your own. (Actually I will reveal the rest of the process sometime soon. Hint: It's an easy step. Also I gave you a clue when I said without RED MC I would have to use HEX editing) :cheeky:

That's the point man...Bliss made tight sleeved jersey for 2k14...why not made the armholes smaller based on his jersey?
He published them on his own thread....

Tight Sleeved Jersey

Hope this can help

It took a lot of time just creating the jersey models that I have created. I have a family and a job, I don't have enough time to try and sculpt jersey models to look exactly like bliss's. If you want to give it a shot go ahead. I will try to keep improving this but I will have to do it when my schedule allows. If you guys in the community want the jerseys like bliss's community members with time on their hand should be trying to get it in the game.

Maumau I respect your comments and I even used your jersey models for a while but trying to make these jerseys super tight is not that visually appeasing to me. I was attempting to do it for the community but it's hard to justify spending time making the perfect tight jersey model to your wife who knows nothing about modding and doesn't care much for basketball, it's worse when you have to try to mod but your kid wants to click all the computer buttons also. I gave the community some direction in how to create this type of jersey if I had more time I would try to make a video tutorial but I don't even have screen capture programs because I had to sell my desktop about 6 months ago to help with family needs at the time. I don't want to complain but it is time consuming sculpting those damn sleeved models lol. It took forever to figure out how to remove the sleeves but because I just used blender for the first time on this laptop. I haven't edited 3d models since WNBA mod with the female CFs because I sold my desktop with all the great programs I used.

This is a big community. I hope someone will pickup on my slack and try to create an alternate version of the sleeve"less" jersey and make it tight.

Sorry for the rant guys.

you need the red mc iff editing paid version. You have to change the hex values to match those in the original cloth iff files. I at work. Will be back

We can do this with Hex On Steroid, right? Or this is possible only with Red MC paid version? Thx in advance

I have only used HOS once... last year and my attempt to use it failed so idk. You could use any hex editor but you have to know what values to change. Red MC simplifies this process. I will post the values for cloth_u and cloth_v when I get home.

U can make almost any 3D model show as a jersey. I will try to screenshot examples when I get home. I used a basket as a jersey it was weird.

a bit late maumau78, but any iff license lets you import/export or clone/delete raw parts and rename IDs. Still, textures is worth having.

Great work TGsoGood

Re: Static Jersey, Moving shorts Updated | Process REVEALED!

Yep! This is pretty awesome. Here is the classic U uniform along with moving shorts, and for fun, classic U on thin players and sleeved uniforms for "regular" players.

So what this does is gets rid of what stopped me from doing this during the beta testing. What I tried doing was importing the classic model into the modern model spot. The modern uniform files have 2 models for the uniform, one for cloth, and one "SCNE" file. What TG has done is pretty ingenious. Take the sleeved uniform and turn it into something the game will read (at least that is what I am assuming).

So here is the procedure, start to finish.

Rename cloth_u.iff to back it up
Load classic_u.iff into RED MC and export all SCNE parts to rcme format
Copy sleeved_v.iff, paste, and rename to cloth_u.iff
Clone either the fat or reg SCNE pairs (static/no label) (I'm assuming you skipped this TG, but this is so we can have thin/reg/fat models)
Import the appropriate classic_u rcme files into the different slots. So reg to reg, fat to fat, reg to thin?
For the game to load these you need to rename the Name and FileID
Either use the names (optional) and FileIDs (required) listed by TG above, or get them from the original cloth_u or w/e necktype file
Then reorder the parts so the FileIDs are in alphabetical order.

I've attached my test file with just classic unis, not the reg=sleeved version, below. I'll try and get a video tutorial up as soon as I can TG. Thanks for doing this.

and BTW, I tried converting Bliss' awesome uniforms from last year and couldn't get them to work. It was only a first try, but looks like they will take some extra finagling.

I will try out your File and I will take a look at Bliss's jerseys again. I was dozing off then I clicked and saw your discovery Jaosming and I am wide awake again lol.

New Updated pack. (Non-Tight) This pack includes wishbone collars

Link: Stiff Jersey Models (smaller arm holes/ for moving shorts)

Re-worked the round collars using classic jerseys as a base. These look better than classic models which have a wider neck opening.
Round collars should have minimal clippinng/ ripping if any.
Re did V collars need some work as far as making them tighter but no clipping.
Added wishbone collars. No Clipping for these either.

Try these with 4K jersey's looks great
Johnerics's 4k jerseys

Hi Bro. You're tight jerseys are good. but can you remodel the jersey bro? I have a screen captured here. I shaded a gray color WHERE you can cut or adjust? Because for me the jersey is too straight cut? You need to put slanted cut especially from neck to arm. I'm not commanding bro. sorry. I was just hoping if you can make a remodel especially in wishbone cloth file. I hope you can consider. Thanks

I may try to look into it later. I noticed that. The wishbone collar was just a sleeved jersey, I only removed the sleeves I didn't edit the model.
