The San Antonio Spurs are keeping free agent Matt Bonner on a one-year minimum contract, via the San Antonio Express-News' Mike Monroe:
Bonner confirmed the deal, for one season at the 10-year veteran minimum of $1.448 million, via a text message that read: “I'm coming back.”
General manager R.C. Buford confirmed the agreement.
A stretch four since before every team had one, Bonner is the longest-tenured Spur outside of Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili, and he's been a consistent three-point threat for his entire NBA career. The 34-year-old's minutes have declined in recent seasons, but he made 43 percent of his 3-point attempts last season in 61 regular-season appearances.
