BS about not visiting India. India's a great place if you aren't a moron.

How can a foreigner to which place is great or not by just visiting there for a short time? Look at the irony. That and many other types of incidents are reason why I don't recommend anyone to visit this side of the world. I'm not anti-India or anything, I just won't recommend any friend to visit unless it's like a group of 15-20. But never for a family vacation.

I always hear stories about women getting groped on trains and gang raped and shit like that. But that Danish woman sticks out like a sore thumb in India, so she'd get some attention and would be a big target.

Jackal, on the other hand, is a male (i assume ) and iirc is of Indian descent so obviously a trip there would be easier for him than a Danish woman, right?

I am being given an option to attend the Faculty of Electrical Engineering...which is great but is on the other side of the country, speaking as a guy who never really lived anywhere alone and who got fond of my friends here(I can cook and survive the basics), it sounds tempting but I'm full of doubt if I can get a degree there. I've never been a hard worker and knowing myself it's a risk going there as I might lose a couple of years before realizing I'm not up for it.

The faculty options in my surroundings are not as great: Traffic and transport sciences, Graphic studies and desing, Economics....

I'm about to make a decision that will change my life and I'm about to burst....
