My college days are basically over, just a few exams and requirements remain. Unemployment, here I come.

uh i actually was unemployed at the time and had a job interview the next day, so I tried to get myself off of the jury. If i didn't have that interview, I would've wanted to do it for the entertainment and I had nothing better to do.

Fortunately, none. It's hard to have those here.

Well, instead of doing work for a test next week, I decided to come back here and see how everything was going. Turns out I really suck at this whole college thing.

Will be graduating today. Yah

Well, I've been away for about a month. Missed the whole NBA ECF & Finals and most importantly, the NLSC threads and debates. A lot has happened in the past month. I will share a very short version of my story with the wise folks and shadowgrin here.

On May 14th, I broke my right leg while playing football. It was from an unintentional hard tackle(we were playing in the rain). Then on May 16th, me and a friend of mine were returning from the doctor(in his car) around 7:30PM. In the highway, it's like chaos in my country. The bigger the vehicle the rougher one drives. And most drivers don't have passports and a lot are underage. Anyway, there was some sort of tension growing between another private car and our car. That car was pressuring our car into braking and giving up our lane to it. But we didn't do that, so eventually that car accelerated and made a sharp left in front of our car which forced my friend to make a hard brake. Three guys came out of their car with cricket stamps and hockey sticks. In our car it was my friend and Mr. I Have No Leg. We didn't have any weapons either. You can imagine what happened afterwards.

My friend was badly injured as he put up a fight. He got shot in his right thigh. As for me, after they saw my leg, they only gave me a beating with the sticks and whatnot. Not counting the raining of punches and stuff. We were lucky because a police jeep was patrolling the area for some reason and they came to our aid. But it was already too late. And they also broke the rear windows of our car.

Me and my friend were both hospitalized but thankfully alive, with no disabled body parts.

That's pretty much the summary of the last 30 days of my life. That and the hospital life. And as for the guys who beat us, we know who they are, where they read, live and stuff. But we haven't done anything about it yet. We have stuff planned but that's all after we are done healing and are healthy.

There's a similar difference in vernacular here in Australia, too. While you guys have hockey and field hockey, we have hockey and ice hockey.

Thanks my man. Forgiveness will a tough one after all they did. But we aren't concerned about any of that for now.

Aye, I would strictly advise against Bangladesh, India and Pakistan. Not very good places for tourism. Ain't much to see around here anyway.

Yes and no. I wasn't there in that incident. And he lost his vision in the left eye, not leg. That happened on our campus and was pre-planned. While this incident just happened at random and on the road.

How can a foreigner to which place is great or not by just visiting there for a short time? Look at the irony. That and many other types of incidents are reason why I don't recommend anyone to visit this side of the world. I'm not anti-India or anything, I just won't recommend any friend to visit unless it's like a group of 15-20. But never for a family vacation.

I'm not from India. But bowdown is. So maybe he can shed some light on the matter.
