Hi Guys - Bird definitely played PF some seasons. Laimbeer liked the 3 and should be in and you couldn't stop Bol shooting them and Ralph Sampson also lingered around the line but then he was only 7'4 and 3" shorter than Manute.

We shouldn't (altho we might try) forget Danny Ferry.

There was Mickey Johnson and many people also consider Kiki Vandeweghe a PF although I think his teams just played 2 SF. Other PFs who liked a 3 were Dan Roundfield, Calvin Natt, Dan Issel and Kobe's dad Joe (Jellybean) Bryant.

I'll get thinking and see if I can remember any other 70's and 80's not already mentioned by others.

Easy way to get an answer on what PF and C's should have the setting is to simply look at their 3 point shot attempts, that way you can get an idea for every player from top to bottom

Guys no one mentioned Thad Young ,and Barkley . As well as Bosh ,Thad has improved his 3pt and this season he had 3,7 3pt attemps (Bosh only 2,8 3pta). Barkley has a 1,9 3pta career average ,but he had more than 2,0 3pta in 8 years .Twice he had even more than 3pta (94-95' and 96-97').
