...actually a set for a former student of mine working abroad and will be playing on a league.

If you remove the small patches (logos, flag, sun) it's better than the official jerseys of the national team in the upcoming FIBA world championship where the only good thing about it is the sun in the back.

Wow they almost phased out the red there.

I hope the FIBA uniforms this year aren't from a template like last year. Most teams that played in FIBA Asia wore a similar uniform template with the difference the colors and the wordmarks on the jerseys.

But I do approve of this:

We share the same design with Dominican Republic (minus the sun of course). Seems like Nike's just doing a common template on all of its jerseys.

It's the first time I saw the Team Pilipinas Jerseys. They're actually quite nice. And yes, the sun at the back is a really nice touch.

That sun on the back would definitely set it apart from the other uniforms.

Now as some of you may know aside from video games, I'm also into Japanese robot model kits. Recently, the same Japanese toy company got the Star Wars license to produce model kits based on vehicles and characters from the movies. I've got the X-Wing from the original Star Wars, the black X-Wing from The Force Awakens, and the Clone Trooper from the prequels. I put the Red Five X-Wing model kit up for sale.













I painted and weathered these suckers. But aside from that, I add more to the sadness of this hobby and do some simple comps in Photoshop. Here they are:
