Guide to Installing Patches (NBA Live 2005-08)

(For everyone's benefit, I'm posting this in the NBA Live 2005, NBA Live 06, NBA Live 07, and NBA Live 08 sections.)

As I recently mentioned, we're on the lookout for people to help expand and improve upon our library of Wiki articles. I've added a fair bit of information to our Wiki already and received some help in the past, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling again with a much needed resource: a guide to installing various patches for NBA Live 2005 through NBA Live 08:

Made a couple of minor corrections and additions, including information on PLAYERPKGs and shoes.

Nice work! Don't know exactly how to word this, or if it even should be put in there. But computer-generated players, when using custom tattoos (about anything with their playerpkg), will also affect other computer-generated players who share cyber-faces (generated players seem to use faces from a pool rather than strict randomization).

That's my understanding of it anyway.

I guess that's something that could be noted on the PLAYERPKG page, since the last few NBA Live games on PC have used pre-made generic faces rather than randomised CAP appearances, as you noted. Might be a useful tidbit to have in there.
