Or rather he's not a point guard... I reckon he's more of a SG... a spot up, undersize SG ala Gary Neal since it seems he's not comfortable running/calling the plays... he had success back then because Darren Collison is in there to take the pressure off him...

It's a high possibility that Mark Jackson could be coaching the Pacers if Frank Vogel is out.
Jackson had good seasons playing for the Pacers and was coached by Larry Bird so it's likely that Jackson won't be a dick to the team owner and Larry Bird if Jackson still has good relations with the Pacers, unlike with the Warriors were Jackson basically told Jerry West to fuck off and stay away from the team.

He signed a multi-year contract with ESPN.
And I don't think he's in the Bird circle/lineage.

Unfortunate that his career is nearing the end with disappointing comeback attempt but at least he seems to be enjoying the moment.
If I was him, I'd have taken more money and went to somewhere else. I hope it was worth it for him though.

I doubt there was more money on the table, given all his injuries. Besides, this way he has a very good chance of being a part of a championship team before he calls it quits.

Maybe not, I'm not entirely sure but I thought there was, with many teams chasing after him just for promise and potential.
However, it's unfortunate he can't even play for 10 mpg in this league without his knees swelling up. And it's just too risky. I hear he was depressed while staying away from basketball. But he won't go away with regrets at least. I hope he'll do fine with his post-basketball life. He looked like a decent down-to-earth kind of guy.

Welp, so much for the Heat's title chances. You aren't supposed to touch the Conference Champions trophy.

Really? LoL, where's this myth from? Has it been around for long?

Maybe it's NHL only?

So much for trading Lance Stephenson.
Tweets:
Bird, on Stephenson's return: "I always want him back. You just don't let talent like that walk away if you can help it."
Larry Bird, on Coach Vogel: "His job was never in jeopardy."
Bird: "As far as the season goes, I'm very proud of them. I'm not ready for the season to end."
Bird: "I don't know what happened in the last game. I was caught off guard by being down early."
Bird: "I think Paul George is going to improve this summer, like he's improved every summer. I told him to work on his post game."
Bird: "We've got a good thing going here. I think everyone is disappointed - like I am - with how it ended."
