After fifty games, the first round of the playoffs is finally in the books. San Antonio had no problem in game 7, but looked seriously beatable against the Mavs. Call me a Homer, but I think Aldridge and Lillard lead the Blazers past San Antonio in six games.

Blazers in 7,

Spurs in 6.
As good as Aldridge is he's no Dirk and Lillard will now have to work on the defensive end because of Parker.

Spurs in 7

I voted for the Blazers in 6 but I have to say my heart is with the Spurs. I need them to meet the Heat in the Finals if possible. Dc311, where you at?

You can say the same about Parker defending Lillard.
Lillard averaged 25/6/5 against the Spurs this season in four games.
Last season Lillard averaged 28/7/4 in three games Vs Spurs.
I expect the series to go to 6 or 7 games though. Not gonna predict who wins.

Thumbs up for the joke options in this one.

I'll go with the Spurs in five, but I'll also suggest that the Blazers will give them all they can handle; it won't be the walkover that 4-1 sometimes suggests.

Spurs sweep.

I honestly am not too confident about the Spurs in this series. Look how they played ugly against the inferior Mavericks. The Blazers are superior to the Mavericks in all angles.
The Spurs have proven over the years how ageless they are and they're #1 seed once again this year. I think that's the major reason why people favor the Spurs in this series but looking at the match ups, I honestly can't say the Spurs will have only the fun time in this series. Upset might be coming though I am rooting for old guys.

That's true, but the performance in game 7 still shows they can play when it matters the most. Go Spurs!

That once again is a great analysis. Good to know. It'll be certainly fun to watch the series with some of those things in mind.
One thing I like for the Blazers in this series is that they're better at spacing the floor than the Mavericks. They got the froncourt that can knock down threes at high percentage, but yeah, depth lacks. Going to be interesting.

Spurs in 6. SPURS MUST WIN AT ALL COSTS!

I get the impression that San Antonio has a fighting chance in this series.

Damn. Aldridge is nowhere to be seen. This frontcourt match up was supposed to be in Blazers' favor.
EDIT: Depth definitely favors the Spurs. You have Barton and Mo coming off the bench for the Blazers but the Spurs's got Diaw, Ginobili, and Belinelli. The Spurs go to their bench early whereas the Blazers have 3 players that played full first 12 minutes. Hmm... It's kinda concerning if the legs are gonna wear off as the game goes on for the Blazers.
EDIT: Damn. Batum played full first quarter and still starts in 2nd quarter. And the Spurs starts 4 bench players and still goes on a huge run. The Blazers will have no choice but to bring back the starters into the game early.
EDIT: This is looking ugly. Sure it's still early, but the Spurs have fresh legs and is not a team you want to play a chase game against.

EDIT: Wow, Aldridge missing a wide open dunk. Kidding me? And he misses a dunk once again.
EDIT: Then you get outhustled and lose the defensive board off the freethrow miss. This is disaster. I am going out to get something to eat. Fukdis. I'm done.
