Watching Game 7 of the Clippers-Warriors playoff series and I noticed that TNT used the backboard camera to view a jumpball and stuck with it through the Clippers possession. I thought the camera view was pretty nice and would like to see it more often. Do you think the NBA should use this camera more often or even use it instead of the broadcast angle? Here's a video I capped from my phone.

They should stick with the classical view.

Instead of? No. In addition to? Sure, I think changing things up on possessions like that is a fine idea, and it's good that broadcasters have increased their usage of angles like that over the years.

League/Teams won't use that.
It doesn't show the team logo in center court. That design in center court isn't just for show to the arena crowd it's for show to the tv viewers as well.
The baseline has less dorna space for advertisements compared to the sideline. Holla holla get dollah.

I remember the ESPN games doing ESPN 360 or whatever simulcast on ESPN (normal), ESPN2 (these cameras and the jumbotron above one for walking up the court), and ESPN3 (random, no commentary). Its neat, but I'd rather keep broadcast views.

To be honest I hate it in video games and don't really like it in real life either.
Sorta ruins my depth perception even though I can obviously tell how far away they are from the basket regardless.
