Hey Amp...damn, it's been a long time. Welcome back.
As for Knicks, well, it's deja vu all over again. Last season was only a tease. I thought the team would take a step back, but I didn't expect this! 15-26 at the midpoint....Knicks are beyond pathetic. Now you have Carmelo questioning his team's heart, and Chandler questioning Woodson's defensive strategies. Sh*t will hit the fan soon.

Carmelo with 62 points....Take that KD

Something for Knicks fans to enjoy in the midst of a disappointing season. Great game by Melo, as I said in the random discussion thread I was hoping he'd hit 65 or more.

Before doing some research, I didn't even know Melo was having his such a beast season. Why do the Knicks suck so bad then?

Ironic is Durant didn't play because of the shoulder injury. It would have been nice to see someone else steal the highlight from Durant, even if for one day.

He's just one player and while he is a legitimate star, he's not much of a two way player. Melo's had his moments, but the Knicks have a lot of issues.

19th on offense + 27th on defense = 24th in expected W-L
+ 29th in pace = unwatchable

I wouldn't call it unwatchable when Bagnani performs his stunts...

And the Shoelace Bandit helps as well.
But damn Steve, don't be too harsh on Bargnani, poor dude got injured funny.

I couldn't get excited about Anthony's 62 - that's how disgusted I am with this team, the organization and the owner. What hope is there?

Knicks are on their way to a third straight win with a rout of the Celtics. They are finally winning against teams they should beat and hopefully this trend continues when they face the Cavs next game.

A 2nd round playoff appearance at best!

Just when I think the Knicks might be able to turn it around, they lose to the Bucks...

They won't even get out of the first round.
I'd rather the Knicks rebuild and eventually become a serious contender than making the playoffs as a 7th or 8th seed which means early exit. But Brain-Dead Dolan will never do that - he'd rather make money from playoff tickets than win a championship.

Knicks have lost to the worst team in each conference. This is beyond pathetic.
Tue Feb 25, 2014 1:08 am
How many no-name cats have had career games against the Knicks this season?
I love what Ron Artest's brother tweeted about James Dolan being the worst owner in sports. Of course the Dolan yes-men who run the Knicks threw a fit. The truth hurts.

Seems like the Knicks always find ways to lose games.
Tue Feb 25, 2014 2:22 pm
Currently BKN, CHA, ATL occupy last three spots in the playoffs seeding. And then there are DET and CLE ahead of the Knicks. The Knicks gotta play better ball than Drummond led DET and Irving led CLE, then overcome Kemba's CHA or Millsap's ATL.
Do you guys think the Knicks can pull it off? (Bargnani and Iman are due back soon.)
Tue Feb 25, 2014 7:23 pm
Melo will pull them through.

He scored 40+ in 3 of their last 4 games. They also lost 3 out of their last 4 games. Woodson needs to go, he is having a brain cramp in making wise coaching decisions. I can't believe Melo wants to resign to this team.
EDIT:
Apparently Felton is now arrested for gun charges. Not sure if this is bad or good for the Knicks as he is one of the pieces that is pulling the team down.

I think it's bad if he ends up missing too many games. He has been slowly picking it up.
Since Melo can't facilitate shit just like Rudy Gay (despite being volume usage players), the Knicks still need a capable PG. Problem is that Felton's replacements aren't that good. Udrih and Prigioni both are low ceiling players with less upside. Felton (though awful this season) imo was the hope for the Knicks at PG position.
Wed Feb 26, 2014 12:33 pm
Udrih and Artest were waived.
New York Knickerbockers President and General Manager Steve Mills announced today that the team has waived guard Beno Udrih and forward Metta World Peace.
“We are disappointed that it did not work out for Beno and Metta here in New York,” Mills said. “We thank them for their contributions this season and wish them well.”

Felton will keep playing on bail(kinda badass). He just has to attend court on June 2.

With this defensively-challenged sh*t roster??? Hell no - season's over. With no first round draft pick, bad cap situation and a brain-dead owner calling the shots, the future is bleak.
I just read the Knicks are going to sign Earl Clark and Shannon Brown.......whoop-de-damn-do.

Those two would be a nice pick-up. If only they can throw Bargnani away...
