The Official NBA Live 14 Impressions Thread

Experienced the disconnection error in Ultimate Team this evening. For what it's worth, it happened after I paused the game to upload a video. When I returned to the game, the connection was lost, booting me from a game that I was winning and ultimately wasting a game on everyone's contract. Not cool.

I've had worse than that. I applied a contract to a guy who had no games left... it didn't take so applied it again. Same thing, didn't work. Thought it was just a bug so tried a few more times. Turns out this one player (forgot who he was) was bugged, yet it cost me 6 or 7 contracts because even though they didn't apply, the game used them up :/

That is a nasty one. I'll keep that in mind if I run into the same issue, and just let them go.

I just noticed something, when you set the tempo for your team in the menu, when the game starts, it's back to slow, so you have to change it in the game. the game actually plays better when the tempo is push!! Anyone else notice that on the xbox one

there was a post on OS about changing coach settings to Push, Crash Boards, Tight and Tight. I did it a while ago and forgot, gameplay is better with it, but it gets wonky on higher difficulties above All Star

Worth keeping in mind.

Anyone run into any "EA Glitch" kind of AI? Where you cannot do anything and the AI is unstoppable? I think it happened to me, I included the 3rd quarter which is more or less representative of my gameplay. 4th quarter is just absolute BS, outscored 26 to 4....

You played horrible in the 3rd, but made some plays on both ends and actually increased your lead. You did the same thing in the 4th, but hey turned into bricks while the cpu drove passed you every time you tried to steal the ball. The only two plays you scored on was a nice backdown turnaround jumper by Wade(who shouldn't have been shooting those 3's), and a facial(also forced). You had too many one on one forced shots. You didn't adjust or call a timeout until you needed to stop the clock. Did you notice all your player's fatigue during the timeout? The cpu just took advantage of your gambles on defense and combined that with some great defense of their own. You should force up more 3's. You could have had 7 points in that quarter. Your playing against an all star team.

Wade usually hits those wide open ones though. Steph was getting doubled.
