NBA Jam for Android updated for 2013/2014

FYI, a new update has been pushed through for the Android version of NBA Jam, featuring 2013/2014 rosters. A few rookies have been added, Luol Deng is on the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Brooklyn Nets and New Orleans Pelicans have received logo and audio updates. The new audio wasn't recorded by Tim Kitzrow however, so it does stand out somewhat.

Nevertheless, it's interesting that they'd do that. It remains to be seen whether or not the other mobile versions or On Fire Edition for the 360/PS3 will also receive an update.

Did they have someone try to match the voice? Would definitely like an update for OFE, especially with names added for the last update they made

Ugh, he's been horrendous this season. They need to bring him to the D-League. Not sure why they'd rather have him be horrible in the bigs / sit the bench than get some in game experience without all the expectations down in Canton.

Meanwhile, it doesn't look like the iOS version has received the update yet.

Yesterday I got NBA Jam 2.00.41 on android, so I play this great game on a handheld device right now. In the last 24 hours I completed several challenges, but just a few of them were appreciated with an actual unlocked player. For example, I grabbed at least ten boards in five straight games in classic campaign mode (with the character under my name, not with the cpu teammate), and David Robinson is still locked (however, theoretically he is the reward for collecting ten rebounds in one game). How is this possible? Is this a bug? Is there a solution?

Sounds like it could be a bug. Probably something the developers would have to fix, so you may be out of luck on that one.

Just to inform anyone who struggles with the same problem, finally I've found the way to unlock Admiral, Dr.J etc, but it was tricky. Since I played NBA Jam only in Tag mode, so I needed to get double figures in rebounding/alley-oops(and so on) in one game with at least two players on the roster to complete the actual challenge.

Thanks for the info. Still sounds like a bug/oversight with the unlock conditions, but good to know that there's a workaround.
