I can't seem to find anything worth a damn. If push comes to shove, what you've got is fantastic, and we can certainly roll with that. I'll do some more searching and see if I can't find anything though...
Iowa is done, in game, and ready for release. I'll probably wait and see if I can get another team in tomorrow and then release another 2-team Add-On.

Kansas hated their new uniforms so much they've been wearing those cream uniforms and another gray uniform for a week or two now. I'm hoping Pepis will add them to his Kansas pack. The cream ones are really really sick.

Yeah, they should go for these jerseys for the whole season, looks dope.I would die to see them in the mod.

Find me that script Jayhawks wordmark or a very close font and I'll make it. Shorts look easy and I've got an Adidas template from Pepis I can work off of.

Hey bigh0rt,
I find this whole project fascinating. I have never owned a gaming pc, but I am building a monster one primarily for this mod. I an a huge college hoops fan and can't play 2k8 anymore because it's so dated. I have never molded before, but can learn quick and really want to make cyberfaces, arenas etc. I won't have my pc built for 2 weeks, however I will then start making cyber faces starting with Arizona.
Is Arizona in the included demo and if so do you have any cyber faces yet?
Also, will this be set up to use in a season mode, or just quick game?
Once again, you guys are doing great work, and I can't wait to get started, as this is awesome. (I never knew this was possible) being a life long console gamer.
Talk to you soon

Arizona has cyberfaces, but I think the only one is Aaron Gordon and the rest are lookalikes.
When it reaches 30 teams, association/season will be the way to go!

droc81yo,
AirAaron32 is spot on. And I'm not actively trying to get it to work with Association Mode, but if it does, that's great.
Note, anyone who is good at working with the gamedata.iff file, please let me know. I have an NCAA referee uniform .dds file (courtesy of Bassman) that I'm hoping is still the correct template, and I need it imported into the file to see if we can't get rid of those NBA referee uniforms. If there are any other possible changes to be made within that file (I believe the file I currently have has the nicer white net with the knots in it that someone made), let me know. We can release it as an Optional Overwrite file.

Dang yall were busy yesterday. Big thanks for all the Iowa love. Those courts look fantastic. I looked around this morning for Mediacom since I used to be a customer but strange how nowhere on their site or google img search is there one. I will keep looking.

Cool, sounds good. Can't wait to try this out!

These Kansas uniforms might be the death of me... but I'm going to get them done...

Also, Indiana fully implemented into the game. Hoping for a release tonight with Iowa and Indiana, along with these Kansas uniforms.

I want to start editing cyber faces (i.e. making them look like their real life counter parts). First I have a couple of questions since I am a noob and never done any of this before. I have seen a couple tutorials using blender and that part of the process looks like I can handle it with some practice. I have the blender program installed on my laptop (waiting on my gaming pc to play nba 2k14)
I downloaded the 7 zip file.
What program do I need to view the files (.iff files right?) To put into blender to edit?
Secondly, how do I reference what player I am editing? ( As I understand you make a custom ID that is not utilized by a player on the default game)
I apologize if my questions seem mundane, however I really want to help in this and think I can contribute immensely once I figure out what the heck I'm doing.

Mundane? This post you made means you know more about editing cyberfaces than I do...

You can open, Import/Export, and Save pngXXX.iff (Cyberface files) using the
3DM Tool. It's entirely in Chinese, but if you watch the Tutorial made by JaoSming, you can learn it very quickly. It's how I Import/Export jersey textures, and if I learned it, a monkey can. I can't remember where it is, but I'll see if I can't find it. If he sees this he'll post a link I'm sure. He found it in 0.2 seconds when I was learning 3DM.
As for the players, that's a different story. I've given each player a custom CFID, starting with 3000 and going through somewhere in the 330's at this point. I can see which player matches up with which CFID in RED MC (so can anyone else who has the program), but if you don't have it, I'm not sure. I'm happy to tell you any player's CFID that you'd be interested in editing, though. So please feel free to ask.
The file name for a player is pngXXXX.iff, where XXXX is the CFID (Cyberface ID). So, if you want to edit player 3000 (in my roster, that's Jabari Parker), you just name the file png3000.iff.
There is a list somewhere of the NBA player CFIDs, so you would know which player you were starting with, at least. May be in the Tutorials section.

Thanks bighOrt I appreciate it. Is RED MC the program that only certain people can have permission to ( like 2k only gives out so many licenses?)
Thanks for the info, Im going to look for the 3Dm tool and the tutorial ( I think I saw it before browsing these forums)

RED MC is a program that you have to buy. No limit on permissions. There is a free trial, but I don't know what tabs it gives you permission to use. If it gives you the Players Tab, you could theoretically just use that to find player CFIDs.
Read about it here, in it's thread:

REDMC costs money, you can pay with PayPal and a variety of other options. It is a roster editor, but in the future it should be able to edit IFF files as well
