If Kobe & CP3 were playing, it would have still been a blowout with Griffin playing like that.

Shaun Livingston had quite a game against the Heat yesterday. Nice to see him playing some solid minutes and breaking out a couple of explosive finishes, after that horrific knee injury all those years ago.

Andrew, what's your take on LeBron getting fouled out after 5 years?

Re: Random NBA Discussion 2013-14 Season

It was surprising, as it always is when it happens to players of his magnitude. I wouldn't normally argue that players like LeBron don't get enough appreciation from the officials, but a couple of the calls on him were a tad iffy. Mind you, he also got away with one of the most blatant instances of offensive interference you'll ever see and didn't get T'd up for something a lot of players would be. Still, very unusual to see it happen and with Wade already out, the Heat looked absolutely lost without him.

Not only some calls were unfair, some fouls that AK-47 earned were flops. Best flop was probably by Shaun Livingston in the last LeBron foul.

Also, there is the Bird goaltending call.

Ya, Miami was giving their worst performance of the season, but if it wasn't for the bad calls, they would have still won the game.

LeBron getting a dose of his own medicine.

Heat won 2 championships with the help of referees, they get one regular season game with bad calls and the whining starts. :?

Boohoo. Now that the "Stern excuse" is gonna what are ya suckers gonna use in the future?

It's probably not the Heat. But it's probably the Nets. The league's best customer this season with paying 100 mil tax, you have to help them. It's like with the Lakers last season, it's business.

I don't think Livingston flopped on LeBron's sixth foul, he was just playing good defense and was outmatched when a far stronger player lowered his shoulder a little. It was just an iffy call that probably should've been a no-call if anything.

Adam Silver is known to be friendly with LeBron's associates, so LeBron's championship run will not end with Stern gone.

and 4th on the way, soon.

If that's the case, Heat should win them all as long as Silver is around.

Marc Gasol suddenly came back and started tonight. Dejavu, repeated last year's great playoffs match up, Thunder vs Grizzlies, again without Russell Westbrook. Looks like the Thunder really miss him.

As for Luol Deng (still bothered by injury), he finally had a great game, shot perfect 5 for 5 3-pointers, and 4 for 4 from charity line. Perhaps, he wants that 15 mil per year contract. And this one was against the Lakers. Will he end up in LA?

Greg Oden plays basketball. Even dunks.

Last three games of the night were really fun...

Cleveland at Portland : Aldridge went beast mode towards the end of the game to pull Portland away in a tight game.

Dallas at Clippers: Fuck the god damn choker Mavs.

Denver at Golden State: Much respect to Denver for beating the Warriors.

Yeah. This was a great night with so many close games and comebacks. To add...

The Wolves continues on choking, lol. The Mavs choked too.

The Heat came out empty and had to play catch up all night long. But had Oden back.

Watched last OT of the Bulls vs Magic game. Was a nice game.

Sullinger with 25 points and 20 rebounds.

Nice scuffle between insolent young rookie Len and ugly Young. Pussy Young overreacted and slapped Dragic.

5 stars out of 5. (Y)

So the Rockets set a record they shouldn't be proud off: the largest scoring differential between two halves.
What a crazy game that was...

Portland beats Spurs.

OKC and Clips still going solid without one of their top players each.

Impressive. The Blazers are 0.5 game behind the Spurs for the top seed in West. Top seed war is getting interesting. When Westbrook comes back, the Thunder will have a decent shot at it but the question is when will he be healthy enough so they start a couple nice stretches of wins. The Spurs are solid. The Blazers are surprising.

Durantula scored 54 btw. Look at his last 10 games log on points scored.

Hot damn, 21 is a stinker for KD when it would be a solid scoring night for rest of the league.

Because Kevin Durant is trying to maintain his lead as the scoring leader, just ask Kevin Martin.
