Goodbye 3-peat.

Heat just pissed in their well oiled machine...

This is a punch below the belt to my fantasy team. I was expecting Rondo to be traded and Michael Jordan Crawford to keep on flourishing. Time to get off the Green Train. It's wrecked.

My thoughts exactly.
I'm surprised to see the Celtics part with Crawford. It will be interesting to see if they do still go ahead and trade Rondo after he returns and shows that he's healthy, as is currently rumoured. Solid move by the Warriors.

Dwyane Wade called the Joel Anthony trade "unfortunate."
Thu Jan 16, 2014 11:58 am
What is "unfortunate" is his knee. It's because of that, the Heat traded Joel Anthony for Douglas. The other day, Norris Cole played 50+ minutes.

So... this shuts the Hinrich to the Warriors trade rumor then...

That is a deep blow.
At least, non-Heat fans will be able to enjoy the Olynyk & Joel train.
Thu Jan 16, 2014 6:32 pm
Only thing they're gonna enjoy is fatboy Sullinger and Kim's ex Hump.

Heat struggle out of the gate against the Wizards, rally to cut the deficit to single digits but ultimately still lose by 17. It would be naive to suggest it's a coincidence.

I hope you are not serious. 3 straight losses for the first time since 2012. They are just mentally exhausted that's all. And remember the last team they went to the White House, they lost the next game.
Joel Anthony might have been a veteran but he didn't have the UD or JH type of influence over the team. Even Let It Fly had a bigger influence. #justbeingserious
Hilario Nene is extremely happy:
"They came here, whatever. They went to the White House, whatever. We just came here to play."
Whatever bitch. What the fuck are you again? Take advantage of this off day.
Thu Jan 16, 2014 7:58 pm
Considering some of the other posts in this thread, along with the Anthony "Greatness" meme in the first post, I didn't think I'd have to clarify that my post wasn't serious. But since I do, no it wasn't.

Damn, Andrew. You know I don't have detector for when you are being sarcastic :p
I know how the guys see Joel. Especially shadowgrin. But I really hope he gets some decent minutes in the Celtics. He can be better than Humps, seriously.

I find your basketball knowledge laughable. You consider yourself a Heat fan with that kind of ignorance about the team?

I didn't think anyone took NovU's little minion seriously, especially you shadow.

I was specifically trying to
bullshit with you. I'll try again.

Personally I don't think Joel is that big THING Celtics are looking for, they are just finishing the process of freeing some salary cap. Great to have Joel but not like he is something Celtics were dying for... (just my opinion)

Anthony has a 3.8M player option for next year, I guess that was more important to get rid of then win a third title. Damn you, Riley.

Anthony makes an impact without even touching the ball so far. HOF.
