First of all, please continue!!! It's not the same with an enb that affects everything in-game.

Second of all, as you see from the pics you showed, in the 2nd pic, the haze is not in front of the parquet. That's why I am saying maybe you should move the effect to the crowd. But please continue with your work, we need it

I think i got wonderful results with last version, but without your work as base, man i dunno...

Sj, I am sure you are omnipotent, continue to refuel!

I tested the new haze effect for the Bulls Court. What I can say is that it's optimized compared to your old Stadium Feel Mod. I get 60fps while playing, with occassional hiccups to as low as 40fps during cutscenes and 50fps when inbounding the ball. IDK why it goes down to 50fps when inbounding the ball, usually I only get hiccups in the custscenes. Btw, I'm using your AC4 Natural Lighting Global and my specs are C2Q oc'd to 3.0Ghz, 8GB DDR3 1333Mhz RAM and Radeon HD 7770 Ghz ed. Thanks and keep up it up man.

SJ are you sure this is the right file? Because in the pictures you show 96 bulls but you released the file for the current bulls stadium. I'm just asking because the one you released is the same like last year.

i think you should quit haze stuff and continue improving your amazing ac4 global. that is the real thing SJ

Anyhow if it's your current haze effect here are the results in words and pictures,

FPS: Although my FPS counter said 60FPS throughoput my gameplay experience, i did encounter hiccups especially when the camera zoomed out and more of the crowd could be seen.
Changes to last year: None that I could witness. However, it still look amazing, and it would be exfellent if we could figure out how to solve the fps drop and the upper stands black crowds.

Here are some screenshots.
That's not bad at all, maybe too strong yet. No FPS drop for me (i7 3770k + GTX660 + 32 Mb ram).
By the way the top stand are still off due to that black/haze contrast. Maybe with a default crowd.iff custom file with the right light on those top stands you can get it.
Or maybe leaving the haze just above the crowd could be a valid workaround. You could enjoy the effect in cutscens and replays.

I think it was just Sj's mistake, this effect is way much more subtle than the bulls 96 stadium he showed earlier. I'd like to give that stadium a try

You almost never see that kind of strong white haze. What you see are colors fading to black.

You see that white haze only when the camera is pointing almost directly to the lights of the arena and the glow (the halo?) reveal the dust generating that white haze.



Why "almost"? Coz when the camera tip with precision towards the beam of light what you can see is just black all around, no haze at all.
Think when a car pointing you at night.

And let me say Next Gen is wonderful, but waaaay too exaggerated.
That's why I think my solution with ENB is closer to reality...

2. The fact that you make another haze effect doesn't mean you can tell other people not to.
3. Editing a stadium requires way more effort than playing around with enb settings.

Your solution looks like we're under the experience of drugs and we see everything blurry. SJ's solution is way better because the players, the court, the baskets everything keeps their sharpness and brightness, they don't look like they drown in bloom, and only the background get affected.

Yes NG is not realistic but that doesn't mean that it is not better than realistic. There was a video of 2K Ronnie and another person from 2K playing the NG version in front from 3 or 4 fans of the game - I tried to find it but I couldn't, if someone can find it please help me out here - where 2KRonnie said that "Is this realistic? No it isn't? But it looks wonderful". So I don't mind if something is not realistic as long as it looks better than real life and not ridiculous.

If I want realistic I get a ball and I go to a court to play. I don't mind you making your own effect, liking it, plugging it whatever. But you have to realize that some people might not like your effect and might want something different and it's disrespectful to try to dissuade other people from making their own thing.

SJ I hope you're not dissuaded. Your stadium feel mod was copied by 2K for their next gen edition, so you can realize yourself if it's worth it or not. It certainlly is, and please don't make it like the pictures. Make it like next gen. Thank you.

First: i don't want to discourage anyone. I'm just saying what i think to SJ. Can i?
Second: i've started messing with ENB because i'd like to have a haze effect in game. I didn't know that SJ would came out with this. I know very well this is another thing and not just an ENB, but i spent countless hours working on that and i don't mind to please you, i made it for myself. Then i thought to share it for people who likes it.
Third: i wrote a pm to SJ to actually push him to improve his effect with some ideas, coz if it's going to like me, i'll be the first using it and the happiest of us all.
Fourth: you say my ENB is like drug experience? Ok i'm fine with your opinion and i know that can't please anyone. By the way you didn't seen my last version and for god sake, if you think that this white fog is more realistic, man, no drug can heal you. Also your SweetFX reminds me of a trip after eating a LSD sweet. So what?

You keep on saying "no blur, no bloom, everything must be ultra sharp because hyperrealism is better" and blah blah blah…

Did you know that the Next Gen is fill up with bloom and actually it's less sharper than my ENB? XD
Did you know you could play NBA Jam to meet your LSD driven hyperrealism?

I have to agree with stielar. This is the way to go for the "Haze Effect". This looks more Next-Gen-Like and more good-looking. The only problem is the FPS drop that it costs. I just hope the great SJ could do something about it without losing too much quality of the Haze. Keep it up SJ! Looking forward for the pack!
