What version WILL you be buying?

As of right now, I am not sure which one I will be buying. I am thinking about the XBox version along with PC but I may get PS2 and PC.

Help me out!

I will be getting both PS2 and PC. I will be getting PS2 for the online leagues I'm in. I will get the PC version so I can take pics for my leagues and such and such :lol:

and get the beautiful patches some of you make :lol:

PC for sure here. and as to why? thats simple really. i can sit here playing nba live while watching the real NBA games on my tv. not to mention a pc is far superior to an console anyday of the week.

I bought 2000-2001-2003 on PC.

This year however, I got a free PS2 and I was allowed to choose a game, duh I picked NBA Live 2004...but games like these, you need to be able to keep updating them otherwise they get boring. Patches are important for this game, it keeps things fresh.

It wasn't a mistake money spent wise, but it could've been spent better had I just waited for the PC version to come out. The PC version is cheaper + I get more out of it than I did on the PS2.

A game like NFS Underground, that can't be patched etc, now that's a PS2 worthy game. (Y)

Basically, if you're not going to buy it for 2 consoles, buy it for PC. The games lasting value/appeal is much longer than when you have to do all the work yourself by creating every rookie and adjusting their ratings with a joystick.

Nah, I'll stick to PC, let Andrew & Ben do the work. :lol:

Why would he want you to suggest to buy the Gamecube version, if he doesn't own one?

He put the consoles he owns in the poll, not because something else "sucks".

No point in advising him to buy the GC version (yes, I know you weren't...but what function would it have in the poll?) if he doesn't have a GC. :wink:

Like I've said in previous posts, I will read the reviews 1st, then I wil either buy it for PS2 or GC; my PC doesn't have a good enough graphics card for Live 2005, but I could if someone could suggest an affordable, high-performance card that I could buy

If it ran Live 04 well, you shouldn't have major complaints about 05.

The specs won't change dramatically. :wink:

Perhaps if you said: "Live 2000 worked like the shiznat, will 05 work the same way?" Pretty obvious, no.

However, not much of a change in specs from 04 to 05. :wink:

I guess I kind of figured because it does not have online capability no one would buy it.

As I've done for the past couple of years, I'll get the PC and PS2 versions. I didn't play the PC version as much this year as I was really into my Dynasty on the PS2, but I'll probably use the PC version for much more than patching this year.

I'll get PC, but the only reason I would want another platform would be PS2 (which I don't have), and it would be because of the players to play online on the PS2. There's just not enough 'good' or even 'average' guys online in the PC version, and plus, I can play my friend since he uses it on PS2.
