Gamespy and TeamXBox previews!

Postby Hotshot on Tue Jul 20, 2004 10:01 pm

i found them this morning on operation sports but i was kinda late for school so i didn't get any time to get on here and post them.
anyways, links...
gamespy nba live 2005 preview
team xbox live 2005 preview

i haven't read the team xbox one yet but i found the gamespy article a bit more informative than the ign and gamespot previews.
it seems the rookie-soph and all star games will be quite different from the normal 5 on 5 games
The Rookie Challenge and the All-Star game are present, as well, though they're a lot like the standard game that you'll play in exhibition or season mode. However, the producer told me that there will be some special animations added to these games, including new moves and dazzling dunks. The games will also move quite a bit faster, as both teams push the ball upcourt to increase the amount of scoring chances.

i like the sound of that (Y)
one thing i'm kinda worried about is that none of the previews we've seen so far mention anything about in-game saves. i hope they bring it back this time around.
they also have a couple of videos up for download. i haven't downloaded either one yet tho...they're ~ 70 and 100 MB respectively.
it would be great if someone with a fast internet connection could check em out and tell us if they're worth downloading.

Both video's are the old video's we've already seen from IGN...

Just 3 to 4 times bigger.

Different timezones and weather. In the northern hemisphere it is warm. In the southern hemisphere it is cold.

Don't download the videos. It's litterally the exact same thing (nothing added). And it's much bigger, and on my computer it was choppy.
