Talk about NBA 2K14 here.

I was wondering if we were able to find a way to import or headshape or body models back into the png with a higher vertices count. In Blender i can increase the vertices which gives us alot more accuracy for modeling. On body models that would be epic. The programs that allow us to import/export models always gives me an error when doing this. Says the model points are different than the original count. If someone can find a way to hex edit the amount of points that are allowed in the png file that would bypass the error.

problem is that we don't know what format the models are in the game. DDS files are DDS files inside the iff files, just without headers. We have no clue what the models are. If we find out, we could do a similar thing as the resolution editing going on and add/delete stuff from the models.

How does the editing tool give us the model. Did person that made the tool find the format. We export in n2km format. It could be the same as any other 2k game in the past year or two.
Leftos maybe can help if its not against the 2k rules or something.

2Kx tool has the export file option, which lets us export just the model, but again, without the model's header and with some of the iff stuff still in there.
What the 3DM and 2Kx tool did was identify the vertice data and export it to the n2km proprietary format (or .obj in past mod tools) and recreate the model in Blender.

Ok, I'll do some research to see what i can come up with. If someone can get this done 2k for pc will never be the same again until 2k15 is released lol.
