1. Anthony Bennett
2. Victor Oladipo
3. Otto Porter
4. Cody Zeller
5. Alex Len
6. Newlens Noel
7. Ben McLemore
8. Kentavious Caldwell-Pope
9. Trey Burke
10. C.J. McCollum
11. Micahel Carter-Williams
12. Steven Adams
13. Kelly Olynyk
14. Shabazz Muhammad
15. Giannis Antetokounmpo
16. Lucas Nogueira
17. Dennis Schroeder
18. Shane Larkin
19. Sergey Karasev
20. Tony Snell
21. Gorgui Dieng
22. Mason Plumlee
23. Solomon Hill
24. Tim Hardaway Jr.
25. Reggie Bullock

14th pick Shabazz Muhammad looks talented and has a good shot at logging good minutes this season but I think his selfishness has to be addressed. As for undrafted, Faverani from Celtics looked great. He might become a beast one day if developed right. I think Celtics have a great shot at 35-40 wins if they start Faverani/Sullinger/Green/Avery/Jordan.

Adelman just held him back during the preseason!
To be serious, this guy has "bust" written all over him, at least for now.
He reminds me of Michael Beasley and J.R. Smith who could both be a lot better with the right attitude.

Yeah, like Corey Brewer is a solidified future for the Wolves.

He'll have to get past Shved, Barea, Martin, Budinger and Derrick Williams too.

The guy didn't drop from the number one spot in his class 18 months ago merely because of his attitude and age reveal.

I admit that it's a long shot and I don't like him either personally as he has problems which will keep him likely in the doghouse.

But the Wolves aren't as good or deep as hipster benji thinks they're. I know benji likes it deep and goOd. But let's face it. Budinger's injured. Brewer as a starter isn't a guarantee. Derrick is a PF in the end. That leaves a great opportunity for Shabazz.

Shabazz is far from ready to help any NBA team. He even sucked during summer league. His preseason statline was more or less plain awefull too.
The only player I was more disappointed of was Jeremy Lamb (.167 from 3pt-range)...

I can't tell if it's good or bad when a lawyer from Hannover makes a better argument than benji on basketball matters.

SteveHTOWN wrote:The only player I was more disappointed of was Jeremy Lamb (.167 from 3pt-range)...

I was never high on Jeremy Lamb. He wasn't even that outstanding in D-league. Sure he can score, but inefficient wing men are expandable in today's league. Couple good yet inefficient seasons might over blow his stat line and give people a wrong idea like he's the next star. And that's before getting replaced with realization kicking in. That's where he's headed to, at best.

If you look at OKC, you can see new CBA in full effect. They went from having a superstar back up wing man to relying on under average gunner. Harden -> Kevin Martin -> now Lamb. But I guess at least that helped KD and Westbrook to produce even more. The Thunder however can look forward to emerging Reggie Jackson and who looks to be a solid rookie in Steven Adams.

That's nice and all but...Adelman.
I guess you don't know how Adelman likes to keep a tenant in his doghouse?

Couldn't go past voting for Olynyk in the poll, but I reckon it'll come down to Bennett and Oladipo. Out of the two, Oladipo would be my pick at present.

Oladipo was my choice too. About month ago I'd picked Bennett. But his health issues made me worry about his durability.
Mike Brown found his way of dealing with the situation:
"It's been tiring to watch him because every time I watch him he's (gasping)," Brown said. "It makes me tired, so I try not to look at him. I tell him, `If you need a sub, just tell me. Otherwise I'm not going to look at you."

Still don't get to understand this Olynyk pun. Would someone explain it to me? BTW, Oladipo all the way to ROTY since he's already locked with starter position. Maybe Noel can put up surprise but since 76ers are tanking mode, that won't help much.

76ers already said they want to sit Noel for the season.
I think he's out of the race for RoY for the upcoming season.

Zeller deserves a mention. Probably won't win ROY given the fact that Oladipo, MCW, and Olynyk are going to have a lot more opportunities than him. But Cody's looked good so far. He'll fit right in and produce. I'm not sold on anyone else.

I think Ben McLemore could be thrown into the mix as well, given enough playing time.
But I agree on Cody Zeller. I really liked what I saw during preseason. He's pretty fast for his size and could help stretch the floor for the Cats.

Olynyk is no joke!

Not much to explain, really. He's becoming a fan favourite, so there's a tendency to run with that and perhaps slightly exaggerate his abilities. Having said that though, it's not as though he seems doomed to be stuck on the bench.

Rise, you just had to mention CHA player, didn't you. But Josh McRoberts probably is a better player to start for the Lolcats if they want a shot at making the playoffs.

Andrew wrote:Olynyk is no joke!

Olynyk looked awesometic during all summer but Vitor Faverani also caught my eyeballs as well. As of right now, healthy Faverani seems to be a NBA ready rookie center who will start for the Celtics, while Olynyk will start from bench and fight for the minutes. That makes me think Faverani could be a dark horse in ROY race. Kid can defend, block, rebound, and finish around the rim. He also has a great size and likes bangingthat's wut she said.

I think McBob will ultimately be a bench player (still playing 18+ minutes) behind Cody. Zeller has played well, and like I said, he won't win ROY as he's not a 1st or 2nd option like Oladipo, but he'll be a solid player. He needs to put on some muscle and bang down low a little more but he plays like a savvy veteran already. I think he'll average about 10/6 this year in about 24 minutes and will make All-Rookie 1st team easily.

iirc I didn't vote. Olynyk's dominance can't be measured by a lousy poll.

It's only one game, but Michael Carter-Williams' impressive debut has me thinking that it could be a three man race...or if it's a two man race, it'll be him and Oladipo, rather than Bennett.
