I don't see Afflalo having an effect on the development of the Magic's young guys. This season is all about player development. Afflalo will be shipped out by the deadline.

I'd say he's already broken out some- 17/6/4/2 on decent shooting is incredibly tough to do when your best big man is Josh McRoberts. I expect Kemba's production will improve a lot next season. He won't necessarily put up more stats (he'll get more assists, but his scoring may come down) but he'll be a lot more efficient now that he has Al Jefferson and Cody Zeller.

Derrick Favors and Enes Kanter top the list for me - I don't anticipate major improvement but an increase in minutes could make both of them borderline all-stars if the team doesn't suck.

I agree on Favors and Kanter. Together with Valančiūnas (thanks to wikipedia for the spelling) those could be part of the next generation of big men. I really hope that Kanter and Valančiūnas are able to show what they are capable of like they do it in international tournaments.

So whom would you compare Valančiūnas to? حامد حدادی or ᠮᠥᠩᠬᠡᠪᠠᠭᠠᠲᠤᠷ?

Watching the preseason, another gem I think is
Steven Adams the Kiwi. Perkins has been close to being useless, and Collison has been getting less and less minutes each day. Possible that he takes over starting spot by end of season? He's looked pretty much like an athletic version of Perkins imo with higher ceiling and similarity in having anvils for hands for being unable to catch n finish.
Might be an upgrade at C position for the Thunder this season.

Who ever the knicks sign as the 15th man.
Seriously these last 2 years they've struck gold.
But Grunwald is out now, Knicks might not have that luck.

I expect Enes Kanter to be the next Larry Sanders, as most of you said.

Nate Wolters probably.

2014 Surprise! Who's your next Larry Sanders?
Thomas Robinson got caught speeding but so far no players yet who have been accused of assault afaik.

Only thing that concerns me is Brandon Knight and Ridnour. The Bucks got plenty of players at backcourt anyways. Mayo, Neal, etc. I think Nate is the best player at PG that deserves most time out of all of them already, lol.

Next Larry Sanders as if get a fat contract and then show what an idiot you are by going all "wild for the night" ?

LoL. If then Evan Turner comes to my mind. He's having a nice fluke year.
