Self Shadows technique Working

Its all a matter of taste. You can either use the technique or not. I was merely letting everyone know it works.

I can confirm that this self shadow technique does not work on Windows 8 .

I just switched from Windows 7 to Windows 8 and self shadowing does not work at all , so its windows 8 issue for those nvidia card users who failed to force it through nvidia inspector.

Can't remember which ENB I applied (either Crystal Clear of AC3 Photomod), but surely "Aion" profile that I chose in Nvidia Inspector was the best looking!!!

Just a heads up. Looks like the new R331 Nvidia drivers neutralizes the effect to an extent.

Are you running it on Windows 7? and you get less of an effect with the latest nvidia drivers ?

Yep, I'm on Windows 7 64 and the effect is all but neutralized. I can see a bit of flashing but self shadow effect is mostly non existent. I even tried the Aion profile and there is ZERO effect with that. Once i installed the new drivers it was gone.
