Did you know that the creator of NBA Jam hated the Chicago Bulls so much that he embedded a special code that made them miss last-second shots?

We've known about that for a few years. ESPN.com interviewed Mark Turmell when EA was relaunching the series and he mentioned that, along with the rare custom versions of the game that included Michael Jordan.

The story had been sprung back to life on Reddit and other sources I guess. Just thought I'd share.

Not surprised, the cpu was so cheesy in that game. I'm sure the game was also programmed to force over time as much as possible.

Yeah, the comeback logic was pretty brutal. On top of keeping things challenging, that's also how they got more money through the arcade machines.
