I would have rather liked if we were up against OKC. Durant VS LeBron, all you could want for Christmas.

So the roster's set with Oden's signing.

Top to bottom, I can't find a single guy on the roster who didn't sacrifice money to be the Heat. Everybody wants to be in Miami for a great ride. This is the deed of Wade being a great character and player. Just a few years ago, the Heat starters included JO'neal/Beasley/Quentin/Wade/Chalmers and that's with shit depth. Who'd have thought this was even possible back then. (Y)

Just sayin it all started with Wade, Sauru. You know it. Wade befriended Bosh and LeBron from the Olympics and eventually convinced them to join him during free agency madness. Haslem and Wade were good friends as well so Haslem also took less money. That's how it all began Not because Micky or Riley is a damn sexy management personnel or because Miami is a big market city that has a great fanbase and endorsement opportunity like the Lakers. Anyone that denies Wade is one of the greatest player ambassadors in league history is a fool. A career contrast to you-know-who, who pretty much failed to lure anybody but drove out all the big boys, which you seem to praise all the time how it is the right way to play the market as a player.

Who did you know who drive away exactly? Shaq? Shaq says LA was his favorite place to play, Shaq drove himself away with his "pay me" charade which pissed off Jerry. Dwight? Big boys? LoL.

BUT LoL at the rest of the league!!! Now Oden is big addition and it are because Wade's character convinced him to come play with Miami!! He dont see it as easy chance to get ring like Ray Ray because also he sacrificed in Boston to come because Wade say on the phone he will hug him on tv. It are because we has the high character it was possible but dont be wrong I are not fan of a team per se...I am just fan of player but Lebron and Wade are on this team so I are big fan!!!!!!!!!!!! LoL at other teams with low character guys and five rings LoL!!! Not like Wade needed Shaq to come help win ring one or Lebron to team up together and become so dorminant!!! SUCK TITS HATERZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!! Prokohov is best owner with so much swag. YOLO BITCH

I think Haslem or Battier over Anderson. Mostly because Anderson was a great spark off the bench last season. But if and somehow Oden miraculously becomes healthy enough, I could imagine him taking over starting C spot so Bosh can finally move back to PF pos. That'd be ideal.

If Oden somehow manages to play 15 mins or more per game in more than 60 games It would be a miracle.
I think Heat will play small ball with Bosh at center on a regular basis if it's not against teams like Indiana, Memphis or maybe Detroit...

Oden is experiencing swelling already. I think he's actually done. All the doctors recommended him to stay away from the court in the past and all these years from offcourt didn't do much. Unless all of them were wrong and Heat medical crew pulls a miracle, I can't really imagine him becoming a player he once was. I mean let's be realistic. 4 years time off and countless professional medical people said 'no'. And even under extreme care management by Heat's medical crew each and everyday, he's experiencing a swelling. I've heard that the Heat were testing how much he could push with his knees and it didn't take much at all to get his knees swollen, like couple practice not even full contact drills. Not only he's still far from being back to game shape, there seems to be zero promise to be found that his knees will improve.

Bynum's not gonna be much different imo. Some unfortunately have just too big of a body for their knees.

I definitely agree with you Oden. As hard as it might be to retire from professional sports that young of age, but his knees just won't seem to allow him playing professional basketball any longer. Even if he'd made it mirically back on a NBA court, I'd predicted a similar outcome to what happened to Brandon Roy recently.
As for Andrew Bynum I don't know. Despite the good year he had before being traded to Philly, the chances for him to become the second best center (or third best if you look at that young guy in Detroit) in the NBA again, are slim.
As this is the Heat thread: Daniel Orton is available and so is Tim Ohlbrecht, but the Heat should have need of neither, as they still have Joel Anthony.
