Oh yeah, I was wondering is the D-League logo on disc or did they remove it from 2K12?

i dont have the game files in front of me, but check the files for the logo_nbdl.iff
I know the logo is probably in the other logo large/medium/small files, check the texture names sticky in this forum to figure out where it is

I meant for the Xbox 360 not the PC. So do know the logo number is for the D-League Logo on the Xbox 360?

JaoSming, great tutorial on NBA 2K Tutorial of Convert CF Models from Other Games. I have been trying this out over and over, but just keep getting the same results. and I did the way the video explains and nothing comes out right. also did the Allen Iverson the way you did it, get the same. maybe there is something else in your instructions "I'm just saying, not be anything, your the best at these thing and learned a lot from you" but maybe a step was missed can you help? here what I get!

this is the results I get using 3DM NBA2K12 MOD or Nba2KXModTool for importing. in blender everything is great but after importing is bad! FYI: (also this only comes from 2k10 and 2k11 head shapes.)

then it might just not be possible to do it from those games, I never tested my AI face I converted, I just did it.

Didn't converting from 2K10/2K11 work last year? So maybe you need to take the old models, convert to a 2K12 iff file, then convert it from 2K12 to 2K13.

Yeah, I tried that too, same results!

then 2K13 is just not going to like it I guess. at the very least you could trace the model....if you are insane like me.
thats what I did in this vid - Converting Arena Models, Kinda - https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OFtXL02S5qs :new:

I am not sure if this is the correct forum for this question but I will ask anyhow so please bare with me OK.

Is it possible to convert or import shoes from previous games such as 2k9 and 2k10 to 2k13?

Even if the .iff files cannot be directly converted can I still replace the current shoe textures with the older textures and override it to create a new shoe? Would that work?

THX

probably, check the texture and compare it to a 2K13 shoe. If they look similar then you could export the texture and import it into a 2k13 iff file

The converted shoe shape seemed to work OK, unfortunately the shoe texture did not work. All the colors were messed up and out of place. No good.
Are there any sneaker-head forums where they provide some insight with tutorials, etc?
The only threads related to kicks I have found seem only to provide certain downloads and patches. There is nothing really available on conversions or RGB textures for 2k13. THX!

its just a matter of making the texture look the way you want it to look. I dont know how else to direct or help you other than that

I gave up trying to convert from 2k10. Tracing the CF is very difficult in the wireframe mode on blender, far too many lines.
But I did trace the outer shape of one of the female models that worked out great.

Hello, I'd I'd like to ask how can I get this clear quality of texture in blender like other patchers do.

I've tried to watch some tutorial in headshape editing but I always get this...

i dont know, ask the patchers that do those things

Re: Video Tutorials - Tools, Techniques, and Guides

that's because you are using files with alpha layers. Load up a jpeg version of the texture and it will look like the top
