Is it possible to patch, edit etc. NBA 2k on ps3 as it is on PC ?

no i wish it was,,, Im assuming its going to be harder to edit files from XBOX ONE and PS4 also next year

you cannot do any art file editing on the PS3. There might be a way to edit PS3 rosters which is being discussed over at OperationSports.
