the ability to save the ball

hey don't you guys think that the ability to save balls from going out of bounds would be cool?
They didn't have that in 2004 but they had it in 2003.
i didn't notice anyone come up this but sorry if someone already did

Well you can save balls from going out of bounds, can't you?
You can jump on the ground, do a big slide and get the ball to pass it.
It doesn't look good but still you can save it.

yeah datz rite but dat sucked. they had a better way of saving the ball in 2003 but i think it was automatic.
i guess if they could add that to their freestyle manipulation it would make the game look more realistic. PEACE

Yeah there should be a save like where you can actually jump in some way and heave the ball back inbounds. The problem with sliding is not only can you not do it very often (most of the time you can only chase the ball), you also can slide out of bounds..

I would also like to see the return of the old method of jumping to save a ball that is heading out of bounds, but diving for loose balls should still be possible. It should depend on how high the ball is bouncing and how far away you are from the loose ball.

Agree.

IMO, the "ball saving" in 2003 is annoying, they will jump all the time even it's not neccessary.

Hope EA would implement it in an improved way. (if they really putting back this feature)
