Look here T-Mac fan club boys. It wouldn't matter even if you were a Chinese league MVP. Pop would be crazy to play a nobody out of nowhere all of sudden for meaningful minutes in the Finals, especially in the hopes of covering for Manubili. Besides, there were other guys with proven chemistry who filled his void during the regular season. They come first always beforehand. If this was a regular season game, they'd be more experimental but this is the Finals. This is a reason why Pop is a coach and you guys aren't.

Spurs guard Tony Parker said Saturday the strained right hamstring that wore him down this week could tear "any time now" heading into Game 5 of the NBA Finals against the Miami Heat.

But he's giving no thought to letting the injury properly heal.

"If it was the regular season, I would be resting like 10 days," Parker said. "But now it's the NBA Finals. If it gets a tear, it's life."

If Manu is going to do anything, this would be the best time to do it, Parker has been carrying this team too much and it's wearing his hamstring out.

Wade has been playing with an injury all year...just saying. But as always, a team should be at its best. No team should go through what the Bulls went through this season.

I don't care how hurt Tony is. He's a threat. The Heat can't let their guard down on this french monster. He already won them one game. And remember a quick start by the Spurs in Game 4, went up by 10. Then Pop sat down Tony Parker on precautionary measures, the Heat went onto take 10 point lead. The game got tied at half eventually, and Tony was just superb throughout the first half. Lucky Wade came out to match his energy and stepped up even more to the end. We're talking two injured guys here.

Supporting cast from each side won one game apiece in this series and superstar(s) also one apiece. Game 5 will now be the one to remember imo, especially after all these chess level adjustments that's been going on between two great distinctive coaches.

I wonder how much of that is hyperbole on Parker's part, but nevertheless that's a concern for the Spurs heading into Game 5, especially with the Big Three appearing to have woken up.

That's why I used the word "appearing". Maybe Wade, Bosh and even LeBron turn in a subpar performance in Game 5 after all, but they were certainly on in Game 4 and that could be all it takes to get them going the rest of the way.

As for Parker, yes, his hamstring injury was reported before Game 4. He was injured then and he's obviously still injured now. The suggestion that it could tear at any moment may be hyperbole, but even so any kind of noteworthy injury to a key player is going to be a concern.

By the way, what do you guys think of this 2-3-2 Finals schedule format? It's not like travel was an issue for these teams as distance between two cities are fairly close compared to Lakers and Celtics.

2-2-1-1-1 would have worked just fine imo though I am fine with either way.

I think the original 2-2-1-1-1 format is better since the home team/ away team switches, three straight games in one place just seems weird.
