As much as I want to see him come back strong against the Heat it would be better for the future of the team if he sits out the entire playoffs, gets a full off season, a full training camp, a full preseason and hopefully a full season instead of jumping into the playoffs against the best team in basketball. I don't want to see another Penny Hardaway story, another Grant Hills story. If you're not a Bulls fan then what the fuck's it to you when he comes back?

I didn't say they can't talk about Rose, I'm asking why they're getting so angry. They're not paying part of his salary like me and other Bulls fans are, they don't care if we win or lose. If you're a fan of another team then you should be happy he's out. And please don't call me an impotent...you cocksucker.NovU wrote:So if you aren't a Bulls fan, can't talk about Rose? You impotents better stop talking about LeBRICK and WADE then.
On the topic, I don't mind what Rose is doing. I don't think he's being selfish at all. He's being careful and is only a smart thing. Shows he's young but not stupid. Rose has a future to protect.
I blame the Bulls organization and Rose's brother hasn't helped matters. Reinsdorf and company have always been slimy operators. They pulled the same crap with Luol Deng back in 2009. They pressured him into coming back and turned the fans against him even though his knee was still bothering him. Deng did the right thing for himself and the orgainztion by sitting out and he's been an iron man ever since, logging an incredible amount of minutes year after year.Andrew wrote:MJALLDAY wrote:I don't understand D-Rose haters. I agree that it's silly the way some Bulls fans are turning on him, though Woj makes a good point about the way he's handled the situation. I'm inclined to give him the benefit of the doubt and suggest that he simply doesn't want to make such a negative declaration, but officially ruling out a return would've been a better move. That was always going to be a possibility given the timing and nature of the injury and subsequent surgery, so it's not unreasonable. It's not Rose's fault that fans build up certain expectations based on this and that, but at this point he probably should've come forward and put an end to the speculation.

If he is injured and not able to play, so be it. Tough luck for him and for the team. But please no more talking about "muscle memory", lost faith, feeling uncomfortable and so on. He is injured and needs time for rehabbing. period. All those back and forth raised false expectations of him playing. In the end he could end up as LeBron light (not leaving but defecting his team in the post-season).
That's what I'm about.
