Well earned, foregone conclusion...not much else to say. LeBron's had a fantastic year.

Fuck that asshole. What kind of voters are NBA choosing? This is very unfair. Fucking psychos voting around.

What kind of voters? The same psychos that voted unanimously for James. The NBA media members.

Cleveland.

Journalists' job is to get it right(LoL) but one attention whore deliberately screwed his vote, knowing he's gonna be the special one.

As long as it's as good of explanation as Lacy Banks' in 2004.

That Iverson dope from 2000 is boring.

In the grand scheme of things though, does it really matter that LeBron missed out on a unanimous selection by a single vote? Sure, it would've made sense given the year he's had, but the same could be said of previous MVPs who lost a vote here or there, to say nothing of the years where a different player altogether probably should've been MVP. At least the award went to the most deserving player this year, with all but one voter getting it right.

On a different note, Phantom Cam is awesome, but this has to be one of the silliest uses of it.

LeBron's hairline is farther back than Riley's.

Riley is nearly 70.

Also, let's not discount Spolestra's.

Do you have a 24/7 network to fill? How about two or three? Maybe one in Spanish? What about an internet site that has to post content daily?

Why do you have to Phantom Cam an awarding ceremony?

Oh, so here's the only person who didn't vote for LeBron..

Boston Globe writer Gary Washburn.

Yes, I voted Carmelo Anthony for MVP, and for good reason

Globe writer defends his NBA MVP vote

"When I placed my NBA MVP vote a few weeks ago, I knew I would be in the minority. I knew LeBron James was the prohibitive favorite to win his fourth award because he unquestionably is the best player in the game.

I voted for Carmelo Anthony based on his importance to the New York Knicks, who, if you haven’t been paying attention the past decade, have failed to be relevant.

When the voting was announced Sunday afternoon, I was flabbergasted to learn I was the lone voter among 121 to not give LeBron a first-place vote, truly believing Anthony, Kevin Durant, Chris Paul, and perhaps even Kobe Bryant would snag a first-place vote or two."

They are not journalists, they are sports journalists.

Maybe he just has a different definition of 'most valuable player' instead of being an attention whore like the one who won MVP.

lol.
It's just Riley's early push to retain the services of LeBron once his contract ends in 2014.

Oh, absolutely. I'm not saying it can't or shouldn't be discussed, that's just my take on whether or not it's a travesty that it wasn't unanimous.
