crazy game earlier! Steph Curry kept burying them 3s! Good thing that JR Smith had a counter every single time.

A fantastic game. I wasn't expecting it to be anywhere near a classic, especially after the Warriors' slow start, but instead Curry turned in a ridiculous performance, Chandler was gobbling up rebounds on route to a career high and we saw a really fun shootout at the end there. Good, solid win for the Knicks; still question marks moving forward, obviously, but they can enjoy that one.

Why is it every player has his career game against the Knicks? At least the Knicks won this time.

Rasheed Wallace had surgery to repair a broken bone in his foot. He's out for 8 weeks. It's over for him.

Everyone wants to make a name for themselves at Madison Square Garden.

Jesus is anyone watching this Heat/ Knicks game??

Knicks gave that game away with 18 turnovers and poor execution down the stretch.

Tough loss to OKC. I would've gotten the ball down low to Amar'e first. If nothing's there, then kick it out to J.R. Knicks better win tonight before they go to the west coast.

Knicks are killing the Jazz right now. But Amare's out for six weeks - scar tissue on his knee has to be cleaned out. And Carmelo is day-to-day with this road trip coming up. Shit.......

Knicks finally got into the win column again. Great defensive game by that old dinosaur Kurt Thomas. :chug:

Solid win against the odds, playing the Jazz in Utah and without their best player. Right now, this is a team that is offering very few seemingly safe picks in our daily predictions game thread.

RIP to ex-Knick and Mt. Vernon native Ray Williams, younger brother of Gus 'the Wizard' Williams. He died of colon cancer.

Only 58, too young. RIP.

Since when is 58 'too young'. I understand dying 'too soon' but I don't think anyone considers 58 as young.

He was no spring chicken at 58, but it's almost a couple of decades less than the average life expectancy for men in the United States in the past decade or so.

Re: The Knicks Thread....

Even if it's decades below the average life expectancy or even taking into account 'too young' as an expression, calling 58 as 'young' still boggles my mind. It's one of things that I can't wrap my head into it. 50, half a century old, that's in no way 'young' (no offense to people in their 50's) even if it means you have 30 years left before you are expected to die.

Nobody's calling a 58 year old "young" necessarily. But there's a difference between calling somebody young and calling somebody too young for something.

58 is young age to die regardlessly. I am sure you'd share the same feeling if any of your loved ones dies at that age.

I know where you guys are coming from but like I said it's one of those things that my mind can't settle on.

Knicks are on a mini-roll - JR is playing lights out, and Kenyon has been a pleasant surprise. If they can get consistent offense from Shump (and get healthy), they can make some noise.

Congratulations to Bernard King for making the HOF, one of my favorite Knicks of all time.

Knicks put their 11 game win streak on the line today in OKC.

UPDATE: great win today in OKC - their best game of the season. Anthony continued his hot play, JR and Kidd hit some big time shots and Chandler did work inside. Magic number is down to 1.

A long time coming for King. That win over the Thunder is huge.

Knicks drop Kurt Thomas and signed Solomon Jones. Don't know anything about him.

Re: The Knicks Thread....

He'll probably play the same amount of minutes as Thomas, sans the veteran leadership. I guess it means they get a little younger, though it's a lateral move at best.

I'm imressed. Knicks clinched #2 seat. Never ever would have expected anything like that when the season started.

The fun starts tomorrow. Anything less than a trip to the conference finals would be a disappointment.
