Malone and Stockton knew what they were doing. They were trying to get younger players, salary capacity, and a vacant roster space. But they'd lost three players who didn't give up on the team. It was hard telling them about the deal that had just been made, but they understood; that they know what Malone and Stockton are doing is what's best for the team. "Even if we've just met this off-season," Malone said to Williams and Foye. I know you're a two are good persons; unselfish and loyal to their team. I'm sorry that we have to do this. As for you Alec, you have lots of potential. Never give in, always keep that in mind. The five shared an awkward group hug, which helped relieve them of what's about to happen. They left Utah later that day.

Gordon and Aminu arrived at Salt City Lake International Airport in the morning. They were greeted by the team, just to make them more comfortable. "Welcome to Utah!" Millsap said. "We're looking forward to playing with you." Hayward added. As for Jefferson, he ignored the newly added members of the group. He seemed to be missing his former teammates.

Their first game of the season was tomorrow, The bus took them right to the EnergySolutions arena for their pratice. They wouldn't want to lose that game against the Mavericks.

Good trade for you. Gets you a lot younger. I wonder if you are going to make a further trade to get a PG though?

I was actually thinking of converting Gordon into a point guard. Well now, he's currently the starting PG. This has some sort of advantage against other point guards. He's a good 3-point shooter, he's athletic, not like most point guards out there.
I changed my mind, I do need a point guard. Gordon can just stay being SG. Either Green or Aminu will be the Sixth Man.

Jazz beat Mavericks in Double Overtime, 143-138 | Jefferson Has Career-High And Breaks Team Record

Image

"It was one heck of a game." Gordon told the press. We were getting tired once overtime started, so we slowed down. "It was a close game." Millsap added. But at least we got the win. Malone and Stockton weren't happy, they didn't want to start out the year with a close game. They thought about replacing Corbin, the current head coach of the Jazz. After a little chat, they decided to give him a chance.

They played solid in those final minutes, barely missing shots. The Mavericks defense was intense, but that wasn't enough to beat the Jazz. They all played as a team, making those extra passes, setting up their teammates. That was the reason why they won, teamwork. If they continued doing this, the result would be the same as tonight, a win.

Jefferson had a career-high in rebounds, as well as offensive rebounds. He had 20 points, 4 assists, 15 offensive rebounds, 6 defensive rebounds, two blocks, and one turnover. He was selected as the Jordan Player of the Game.

Leading Scorers:

Eric Gordon - 30 points, 9 assists, 5 rebounds, and three steals.
Al-Farouq Aminu - 25 points, 3 assists, 5 rebounds, one steal, and one block.
Al-Jefferson - 20 points, 4 assists, 21 rebounds, two steals, and two blocks.
Paul Millsap- 20 points, 3 assists, 9 rebounds, one steal, and one block.
Gordon Hayward - 20 points, 3 assists, 4 rebounds, and one steal.

Couldn't think of a faster way of doing it. Soon I'll give it a website-like feel, just NBA.com. It's just takes up so much time.

Malone and Stockton do it again. They've managed to get more good players from different teams. The new members of the roster coming to Utah tomorrow, just in time for their next game. No time for picking-up them up at airport, they need to pratice for the game tomorrow against the Hornets, Gordon and Aminu's former team. They just have to beat them in this one, they need to.

Thomas, just arrived from Sacramento at 8 o'clock in the evening. While Green's plane would be in Utah in two hours. Malone and Stockton greeted them upon their arrival at the EnergySolutions arena. They knew that these two people were their next step to sucess.

Future Plans | Dwight Howard To The Jazz?
Image

I've been playing around with a copy of this association. I simulated the games until the end of the season. The team made the playoffs, ranking seventh in the west. They somehow managed to make it the western semifinals, losing 4-3 to the Spurs. After the Finals, their player progression was good. Their ratings increased, some stayed the same but no one lowered. In the offseason, we were picking at 17 at the NBA Draft; which would have been higher if I didn't simulate. There were still a few good prospects to choose from. Jefferson, Milsap, and Aminu's contracts were expired. With that, I had a lot of cap space. Dwight Howard was available as a free agent, and I found out I was able to sign him, Jefferson, and Aminu. I let go of Millsap for Howard, I thought he was a better option. For now, I'm still comparing them both, see who would fit better in the team. I don't know If I would be doing this, this is just a plan. I won't know if I'd change my mind.

Jazz Take Rout Hornets, 115-95 | Former Team Reunion

Image

The newly traded players were glad to see their old teams. But they knew they weren't going to play easy on them. "Hey guys!" Aminu said to his former teammates. "We need you two here man." Things aren't just the same without you. Davis replied. "Sorry, but I didn't choose to be here." I would have with you guys if it weren't for the trade. We, nothing we can do now. It's already happened. Aminu said. "Yeah, even if we want to go back there, we couldn't." Unless they'd trade us back. "Okay, I understand." But I hope they do. Davis sighed, and went to his place for the tip-off.

After the game, the Hornets showed friendliness. Even though the other team had beaten them, they still showed respect. "Good game man." Williams said to Jefferson. "Yeah, you too." Jefferson replied. The two of them were close, their families would even bond together. That's why Jefferson was so depressed when they were traded. He knew that they were going to meet in another game this season, a chance to get to talk more with Williams and his other former teammates. They left and went to their team's locker room.

Eric Gordon was hot from the three point line, not even missing a shot from beyond the arc. He had 25 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds, and two steals. He was selected as the Jordan Player of the Game.

Pretty much the starting lineup + Aminu and Green scored most of the points. The role players did almost nothing, but I'll play them more the next game.

Leading Scorers:

Eric Gordon - 25 points, 11 assists, 6 rebounds, and two steals.
Gerald Green - 20 points, 2 assists, 4 rebounds, one steal, and one block.
Al-Jefferson - 18 points, 3 assists, 10 rebounds, one steal, and one block.
Paul Millsap- 18 points, 4 assists, 8 rebounds, and two blocks.
Al-Farouq Aminu - 15 points, 4 assists, 6 rebounds, and two blocks.
Gordon Hayward - 15 points, 2 assists, 5 rebounds, and one steal.

I like the trade for Thomas! Good work, liking the lineup.

Re the Howard thing, I am pretty biased (I would probably rather grate my head with a cheese grater than have Howard on my team) but I would not want to stint the growth of Favors or Kanter too much. Favors IMO is a cheaper version of Dwight. However this is assuming you are bringing Jefferson back, there will be a huge log jam up front. That said you could move either of Favors or Kanter for some immediate help with getting in contention.
