Man Iggy really lit you up. Can't say I have experienced him doing that before, how many shots did he take to get there?

Yea it was really bad for that game he would literally just cross over kawhi and pop an elbow jumper. He did that pretty much all game he only made 1 3 pointer. The Stat line for shooting was 23-29. I just could not stop him at all.

Looks good so far. (Y) I like how you write analyses as the game progresses, and the dialogue for pre-game, halftime, and post-game. Very good start so far, but that recent loss against Denver is sure disappointing. Iguodala really had it going, to put it as an understatement.

just finished game number 2 on the night doesn't look like ill get to 3 like I wanted to but this one ran a lot longer then i thought. Double Overtime against the clippers. Had my first game winning inbound pass ally and it was awesome to see but there was only .3 left in the first overtime and in the replay Kawhi had the ball in his hands just as he was throwing it down. Sucks that's not how it ended but still a good game all around.

Thanks-!! :D

its much appreciated. I actually stop at halftime and write these so its fresh in mind and it gives me a little breather from the game itself. Iggy just took advantage of Kawhi all game. I even tried the longer Barnes on him and still it was the same thing. he would look like hes driving and just stop on a dime and pull up from the elbow and nail it.

Hey is anyone else having a replay viewing issue? Its been happening a lot lately in the past 3 games which is why 2 of the 3 don't have pictures. Every time i try to view the replay the play it shows is from a few plays or sometimes a few quarters ago. I try to go into the game track but it shows the same thing. Any one have a resolution to this?

So it seems like every other game is causing me issues with replays not working properly. Im going to try re installing all of my mods one by one and see if any of that effects it. Oh and i have decided to stop weekly NBA updates and do them per month instead that way they can be longer and a little more in depth. Will have two per month. One just on the Spurs as a team and then one on the NBA as a whole. Expect those soon as the first month is just about done.

Barnes lights up when he gets hot. Very hot and cold with him im hoping to get him a little more consistent. If he keeps it up though he will be the Manu replacement when he hangs it up or starts to get down in performance.

"Welcome to Spurs Insider! I'm Sean Elliot and today we wrap up an excellent first month for the Spurs."
"They are second in the west just behind the Denver Nuggets. The Spurs end the first month at 13-4 after a tough overtime loss to the Miami Heat."
"Today we will have a one on one interview with Dylan Torres the first year Gm for San Antonio and get inside the brain that pulled off what may go down as history changing trades for the Spurs organization. But first let's take a look at the averages for each individual Spur so far this season."

Image

"Parker is leading the way with a little over 20pts and 12ast per game although I'm sure pop would like to see the turnovers trim down a bit. Also a good sign to see tony parker voted western conference player of the month alongside Carmelo for the East. Now here tonight we do have a special guest in Dylan Torres."

**********

"Now Dylan sources have it that Backup Center Baynes is now requesting a trade due to an argument between you , pop , and himself as he declared he could play through his ACL strain. Is there any truth to this?"

"Well I will say that he was upset we decided to bench him until fully healed and he was not happy about giving up his minutes to Bonner who himself had just come back from injury. Baynes has let us know if possible he would like to be let go or traded. Were hoping we can keep Baynes here in San Antonio but if he wants to leave that's something I can't control."

"Understood. Next question. Many called your trades stunning and a dagger in the spurs locker room that would divide the room into two. Obviously this is not the case as the Spurs have had only 4 losses so far this season and look to be unstoppable. What if anything do you have to say to your doubters?"

"I understand where they come from because the Spurs locker room was a tight knit place and that's something I hated to break up. But if you take a look at Barnes and Favors. These two were key pieces in these trades and they have provided the young and athletic spark our team needed to get us through tough games and long stretches. Marvin Williams has also contributed coming off the inch as well. I'm proud of this team and hope to make no more trades this season."

"Thank you for coming here tonight Dylan I know your busy so I will let you go."

"That going to be it for tonight's show but before I let you go let's take a look at the upcoming month for the san Antonio spurs."

*******************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************************

"The Wizards and Nuggets off to surprise starts so far this year and if it wasn't for an overtime win in Miami to end the month the wizards would be number one in the east." "The Lakers are an under .500 team after month 1 despite the new big 3 era there trying to create down in LA. This might be something to keep an eye on as the season progresses."
"Two big streaks still going coming in to month 2 and those two are the 9 game winning streak for Denver and the 12 game losing streak for Utah."
"Now we do have some trade rumors swirling as of lately and finally a confirmed trade on the Knicks and Bulls that just got finalized. let's go over to Charles to break down the trade and address the trade rumors floating around the league."

"Thanks Kenny well first lets break down the actual trade that did go through between Chicago and New York."

**********

New York Sends

Ronnie Brewer

Pablo Prigioni

Chicago Sends

Nate Robinson

Dequan Cook

**********

"This trade brings back Robinson to New York and Brewer back to Chicago."
"The bulls lack depth in the SG/SF position and look to Brewer to come off the bench and provide some much needed support."
"The Knicks can now effectively run the double point guard lineup they love to run and still have a decent backup to come off the bench."
"Now in fictional trade news the Raptors are reportedly back in trade talks with Sacramento to steal Cousins away from the Magic."
"These are the reported trades coming out of both sides."

**********

Sacramento Sends

Demarcus Cousins

Francisco Garcia

Toronto Sends

Bargnani

Peitrus

1st round pick 2013

2nd round pick 2014

**********

"The Orlando trade is reported as followed"

**********

Kings Send

Demarcus Cousins

John Salmons

Orlando Sends

Glen Davis

Gustavo Ayon

1st round pick 2013

1st round pick 2014

**********

"Both pretty good trades for rebuilding. And with News that the Kings may move to Seattle leads me to believe the trade will be done by the end of the month as a fresh start for the team may be the direction there leaning on. Only time will team which team will land Cousins."
"Let's go to Steve Kerr so he can discuss the two teams to look out for in month 2."

"My teams to look out for are going to be the San Antonio Spurs and the Washington Wizards."
"The Spurs look gelled and ready to go for month 2 and I just don't think the Nuggets can keep it up and even if they can they do face the Spurs again this month and you have to know the Spurs are going to be looking for revenge."
"Now the wizards are going to be an interesting team come month 2. There not a secret anymore and the league will be watching to see how they perform now that there expected to win. I predict a good month for the Spurs and a .500 month for the Wizards."

Dayum, I hope Orlando doesn't do that trade! Cousins aint worth two first round picks.

Timmy D's number are very low. I he not playing many minutes for you?

He starts and plays relatively well but gets so fatigued so fast that i have to sub him out and the play from splitter or williams is usually good which results in less minutes for timmy. ive noticed as well that Duncan has been missing a lot of post up shots and layups down in the paint area. Shots that favors and splitter hit consistently. ive been trying to get him more involved but its just not working out. Hopefully as i get better with the game and the season progresses his numbers will rise.

As for the Cousins trade i think the Toronto one would make the most sense for the both teams as Cousins going to the Raptors might entice Gay and Cousins to stay after there contracts are up and the Kings would get 2 picks a decent center and a one year salary player. Orlando's perspective is just to get a star back in Orlando no matter what the costs. Not sure which way im leaning or if another team might be a better fit and swoop in to pick him up.
