GAME PREVIEW

Mavs got their first win at Memphis

Dallas Mavericks won its first game of the season against Memphis with the basket of Rodrigue Beaubois when it was just 1 second left to end of the game.

It started well for Memphis, they led the first minutes of game with 7 points. However Mavs had an 15-9 run and it finished with only 1 point lead of Grizzlies. In 2nd quarter, with the support of crowd Grizzlies opened the gap to 10 and finished the first half with 66-56 lead.

In third quarter nothing much changed, they ended the 3rd quarter with 109-95 score. Despite everything was going fine, something weird happened to the offensive abilities of starters. Mavs made an 18-6 run when it was 1 minute left.

Grizzlies was leading with 1 point when there was 6 seconds left. Mavs got the ball, passed to Haywood but he was blocked by new sign of Memphis, Zach Randolph. When there was 1 second left only, Rodrigue Beaubois took the ball and dunked.

Marc Iavaroni took a time-out. Memphis passed the ball from mid-court to Mike Conley, he made a hail mary shot but he missed. Dallas went home with a nice win.

Thunder trades Harden to Mavericks
November 1, 2010

Oklahoma City Thunder trades its sophomore, James Harden (77 ovr) to Dallas Mavericks for veteran DeShawn Stevenson (75 ovr). Fans in Oklahoma didn't like this kind of a trade.
Let's listen to Badger Johnson, the GM of Mavericks: "Thunder offered Harden to us for DeShawn... we were shocked. I remember that someone shout due to his happiness. They did something stupid, if you ask me. As you know, we are clever people, we quickly accepted it."

Time will show whether Harden will be helpful to Mavericks or not.


Harden will wear #12 at his new team, Dallas Mavericks.

The owner of team, Michael Jordan, told this news with crying. Charlotte Bobcats had very big financial problems and they weren't adapted to NBA Live 2003. If nothing extra ordinary thing happens, Bobcats will play in 2011-12 season.

Dallas takes easy win at home

Dallas Mavericks has defeated Golden State Warriors 130-118 at home as holding Warriors at 25 in rebounds.

Mavericks started very well, both on offense and defense. Due to the poor shooting, Bay Area's team scored only 19 points in first period. Both teams repaired the offense, however, Dallas held the double-digit lead in whole game.

Although it was almost same for the game, in 4th quarter Golden State improved a bit and decreased the margin to 10. They had a chance to make it 7, but as they began on missing, Dallas won today with 12.

Yeah 2003, hardout. That was pretty much the first Live game I played seriously. I remember it was essentially a dunk fest for me Haha.
