Set player roles in MyCareer

Sat Feb 23, 2013 11:15 am

Hi,

I'm wondering if there are any trainers or tools out there that make it possible to set teammate roles (starter, bench warmer, role player, etc.) in MyCareer? My first MyCareer was with the Raptors as a PG and I wanted Ross and Derozan to be my starting SG and SF but even though both had higher ratings than Landry Fields, for some reason, the coach kept giving most of the SG minutes to Landry Fields. Ross was getting very few minutes. This was very annoying. Now, I've just started another MyCareer with the Hornets. Again, I'm the PG, so I decided to make Vasquez a SG, but I want him to come off the bench, while Rivers is the starter at SG. So I edited Rivers and gave him a higher overall rating than Vasquez. And after starting the season, the same thing is happening. Vasquez is the starting SG, despite him having lower ratings that Rivers, and This is really really annoying. I really hope there is a way to make Rivers the starting SG. Does anyone have any ideas?

I don't have any experience with it myself but I believe it is possible using one of the trainers that's in our Downloads section. Keep in mind that using trainers can mess up MyCAREER saves though and cause glitches with stats and the like, so make a backup before you start tinkering.

Andrew is right.I would definitely try the Chinese trainer. It can be found somewhere on here. There's a MyCareer section, but I have not personally used it.

Thanks,

I'm skeptical about the chinese trainer. I know several people have said antiviruses give false positives when the trainer is scanned. But after uploading the file to my antivirus company for examination and the company claiming the file did have a virus, I decided against using it.

As concerns this problem, I have succeeded in solving it by starting a new MyCareer and setting the the player's roles explicitly to Starter / Role Player as appropriate.
