I'm not sure yet whether I sign him, he'll probably be a back-up to Lin. Douglas isn't doing much anyway. 10-15 minutes are available.
I really hope I can get Nerlens Noel in the draft. I simmed with the Rockets once before and got him and this draft class has him with 5 signature skills already.

Lin and Harden trump Melo's 41 in Lin's return to MSG. Carmelo Anthony had 41 points on a staggering 17-23 shooting, but it wasn't enough to overcome the back-court of the visiting Rockets, as Harden and former Knick Jeremy Lin combined for 63 points and 16 assists.
Though Carmelo got some help from Tyson Chandler and Iman Shumpert, the Knicks defense couldn't contain the hot-shooting Rockets. who were 56% from the field, including 11/17 (64%) from three-point range. The Knicks in comparison made good on just 48% of their shots, a poor 2-9 from deep.
Despite less turnovers and a big lead in points the paint, the Knicks couldn't click. Carmelo played hero-ball, going 1-on-5 on offense. This showed in the box score, as Amar'e Stoudemire had just 2 shot attempts in 28 minutes.

Mulling whether I should do the Patterson-Robinson deal. All the pieces are there and it would work. I like T-Rob a lot and I think the Rockets won that deal. What do you guys think?
I won't do the Morris trade, he's a key guy off my bench, not giving him away for a second rounder..
Fri Feb 22, 2013 10:33 am
I'd say you trade for T-Rob. I have a Laker Association, and he'a doing real well for me. He's a guy that can give you 15-10 night in and night out, honestly.

I'd say pull the trigger.

As much as I like Patterson in my story, I think it was necessary to part ways with him IRL to improve in the long-term. I'd like to see what Robinson will bring to the table for the RL Rockets.

Yeah, in 2K13 T-Rob is a beast off the boards and putbacks are just easy pudding for him
Sun Feb 24, 2013 5:38 pm
I reckon if you like him yourself then why not?
Sun Feb 24, 2013 10:10 pm
Get T-Rob! He is a beast. So there is no reason to not do that trade. I'd also do the Morris trade for realism, but if you don't like it, it's okay. Great win over NYK.

I'm gonna do the deal, so I'll need a back-up PG and Beverley is not in my roster I think. AI signing won't happen.
Will also do some other deals, like Jordan Crawford and Redick.

Yeah I like the T-Rob deal. Remember he is a top 5 pick!!

Yup, in 2K he will become a beast in a few years.

Yeah - T-Rob deal was awesome in RL for the Rockets. Will pay dividends for you in here

Nice seeing T-Rob with you finally! Also, those real-life trades as well.
Thu Feb 28, 2013 7:27 am
Looking forward to seeing how T-Rob does with you.
Man seeing the JJ trade again always hurts. But man am I excited about Tobias Harris!

Rockets re-sign Shaun Livingston
Following the trade to acquire Thomas Robinson, the Rockets have signed PG Shaun Livingston for the rest of the season.
The trade sent Toney Douglas to Sacramento, leaving the back-up PG vulnerable for the Rockets, as rookie Scott Machado hasn't played all year. Livingston spent the pre-season with the Rockets, where he averaged 2.5 points and 3.3 assists in 4 appearances.
The Rockets also worked out veterans like Allen Iverson, Mike James and Delonte West.
To make room for the signing, the Rockets have placed G Daequan Cook on the waiver list.

Rockets drop fourth straight, fall to Thunder The Rockets returned home from a three-game road trip, going 0-3 with losses to the Bulls, Timberwolves and the Spurs, and were hoping for a win, but they were facing the conference-leading Thunder.
The first half was really uncharacteristic for both teams, who are offensive orientated. The first half ended with both teams having scored just 36 points. The Thunder were 32% from the field and just 10% from deep. The Rockets did shoot better, 41% overall but had 10 turnovers.
Kevin Durant had just 4 points in the first half, going 2-5 from the field. Kevin Martin led the visitors in the first half with 10 points. James Harden had 21 in the first half.
The Thunder went on to shoot 61% in the second half, scoring 62 points in the second half. The Rockets couldn't stop Kevin Durant, who scored 20 points in the second half. Westbrook had 9 of his season-high 14 assists in the second half.
Thomas Robinson had 8 points and 11 rebounds in his debut, Tyler Honeycutt had 2 points and Shaun Livingston had 2 assists.

Shame you couldn't repeat what just happened IRL...again, give Asik some more PT!!!!!

Good to see that Harden is playing well as in real life. How is Parsons doing? Don't seem him in the stat lines that often.
Mon Mar 04, 2013 8:56 pm
He's rather quiet, I guess I don't know hot to use him correctly. He gets rebounds, but I have to work hard with Harden or Lin to get him an open shot. Definitely underachieving in this, looking at how well he does IRL.
