Online Data disappearance? Please Help!!

So here is my situation:
I first installed the ESPN TV newscorebug.iff and its logos, replacing the SIXERS TNT logos
but i did not like the change so I installed the TNT 2K12 newscorebug.iff and reinstalled the TNT logos
two problems have come up since;
the first is that to get the newscorebug.iff s to work, i had to delete the file found in the Online Data update (i had a late january update)
after this, i found that when i went back to the Online Data folder, the downloads folder and its contents had disappeared, after looking into it, they disappear right when the intro video begins

the second is that the SIXERS TNT team logos only work now in game, at the menus the logos are the original 2K ones
previously, i would see them everywhere including the home screen, team select, etc.

if anyone knows what i should do, please please help!

It happens to me too. You have to download online data again. Don't replace newscorebug.iff until you are in 2K13's main menu. Otherwise will be erased again.

the game automatically deletes and redownloads that folder each time it starts. You can use Keep My Mod to work around it

what i did was forget what i did, and am just using the default 2k scoreboard
i tried KMM, but it didnt seem to cooperate
