Help.

Good day everyone, I've some problems in NBA 2k13. Since today, I can't change player when playing association, I mean its like in MyCarreer. You can just pass the ball, but can't control the player. One more, I've tried to install this (espn one), but it doesn't work. [I've did everything like its written in readme file.).



And last question, which team should I take in association mode? Tried many different teams, but it's just no fun after playing some games. [Yes, I'm playing on HOF/Albys HOF sliders]

Find Player Lock somewhere in the Settings, disable it.

For the scoreboard, use Keep My Mod.

As for Association team, there's been numerous threads about it in this very same forum.

I've searched whole settings, no such setting. Okay, I'll try using KMM. But I have a question, as I saw in this thread, you need to save rosters etc, but do I really need to since I only need scoreboard?

Same instructions apply.

Okay, but what should I do with the control of players? Am I blind, or there isnt such setting?

My Controller > Controller Settings.

Okay, I've fixed it.. When tried to use KMM, I got an error that there is no downloads folder in Online Data - it got deleted somewhy? What should I do?

Let the game rest in the Main Menu, let it sync the Online Data again, and try running KMM again.

Okay, it's all good again, but still I don't get it, how to use it. I've did some changes in Online Data Browser, started the game [using kmm], did that roster thing etc, still doesnt work.

Well, click on newscorebug.iff, and then click on Replace with Mod. Then do everything else I said.

Still same.

I had your problem I downloaded the ESPN1.0+ and use his logos... then go to the start, run, appdata folder then transfer the newscorebug, and the gooey files.... Dont forget to delete the download folder...

BaubaS, I give up. The instructions are in plain English. I just tried it myself and it works just fine. You install the mod in the game's installation folder, then open Keep My Mod, select the mods in Online Data Browser and click on Replace With Mod >>>, then Save & Return, then click on Force Keep My Mods when selecting jerseys, then Restore Online Data Backup before quitting the game to go back to the menu.

Wait, so I dont need to put those 2 files (newscorebug.iff and other one) into download folder?

No. Keep My Mod does it for you and edits the downloads.mnf file appropriately. You shouldn't be doing it yourself.
