SCOREBOARD- TWC version 2a. FOX, NBA, ESPN made.

In order to use mods of files that have been updated via 2K's Online Data Updates while not losing the rest of the updates or going offline, you need to use Keep My Mod.

I downloaded Keep My Mod but haven't used it yet. I read the readme, and don't want to Alt-Tab out of the game, because I have different resolution settings, and when I Alt-Tab back into the game it's all distorted and doesn't fit on my screen. Otherwise I guess there's some long wait for loading?

At any rate, would this also work?
(Open "Run" (Windows key + R) then type '%AppData%' > Open the '2K Sports' > 'NBA 2K13' > 'Online Data' > 'downloads')...Then overwrite / replace the original files and right click 'newscorebug.iff', select 'Properties',Click 'Read-only'.

If so, would it also work with the Knicks' jerseys??

FIREWALL. Mark NBA2k13.exe. Do not allow for NBA2K13 to go online. Do you play online? I guess no. So there is no need to have this option enabled.
Then none of your files will be overwrited automaticly.

I don't play online. How do I mark it to not allow to go online??

1) Regarding FOX overlay. I need a texture. I am not strong with hand made graphics, so I will not make anything from scratch.
If someone can draw (with +/- exact dimensions and nice look), please go on.
In need PNG file. If no, then probably I will make it with lesser quality someday later (edited TV screenshot, Actually YES TV was made the same way)

2) Regarding ESPN. I need the following 3 colour combination: black, white, red. Unfortunatelly I can get various combinations with yellow, green, blue red, black, white, green, but somehow can not get my required set (black, white, red) for 3d structures. Closest I have is black+white+green.

Does anyone now this: it is impossible to place a game text on the picture. Transparency is not working for me, but last year ESPN by Ariel/Sixers/Mythbuster had red trasnsparent background at shot clock area which was a picture I guess, but I can't figure it out how it was made yet. For me At transparency 50% - only a picture is shown, at transparency 49%- picture is invisible at all. Hmm? Ny ideas?

It might be slightly different depending on MS Windows version, but should be similar to:
Control Panel + Security + Windows Firefall + Change Settings + Exception...
Uncheck NBA 2K13

thanks on your scoreboard! I'm using your TNT v1.1? and the tnt logo is a bit blurry on me, is it b'cos of my settings? and if you have the new tnt overlay without the logos, can you share it with us? if i am ryt, you need to replace newscorebug.iff each and every game?

edited: forget living place, I just remembered everything in the file is binary, not decimal where some regional settings could be an issue

I tried YES scoreboard on NBA2K12, it works, atleast the one witout team logos. The one with colours dows'n work, is it possible to make it somehow work on 2K12?
I have two more scoreboards to sugest and one correction. The correction is about new NBAtv logo, it is nice with the "Fan night" signature, but here is one that maybe is better - with NBA.COM signature Hope to more scoreboards, they really give a game some sparks and it is nice to play with different ones every time
P.S. And one more thing - is it possible to make ESPN with different text under the scoreboard (NBA MONDAY, NBA TUESDAY,...) so we could copy the one we need depending of the day where our game is?

a) I will, but I am playing carier in K12 so 'till i finished it I won't play K13 The one without colours works, so it is not a problem, except that behind time remaining in quarter stands little yelllow text "sample"
b) Sorry, but I can't agree with you, for me it is one of te best, but it is metter of opinion and I think I saw some people that would like to play with this scoreboard, too, and it looks like ESPN, just with some minor correction, so I guess it wouldn't be hard to make

when I start the game before the main menu turns up, the game crashes. but when I put the original newscorebug.iff on appdata, the game runs but no scoreboard changes. still the same 2k13 scoreboard

You have some kind of a conflict. Disconnect from internet and copy newscorebug.iff to the main NBA2K13 folder at C..ProgramFiles/2K sports/NBA2K13. Also delete newscorebug.iff from the ..Users/Appdata/2ksports/nba2k13/onlinedata/.
If this does not help then reinstall the game or forget scoreboard. It is hard to fix remote without being able to see the whole picture
