edit: nevermind. I see there are more instructions with youtube videos i missed!

Nope. Still can't figure it out. For 2k12 i used the NBA 2K12 Cyberface (& Jersey) Texture Importer / Exporter..i easily selected my iff and i could see all my textures in a folder. Is there something more simpler like that? It won't work with 2k13 and when i use the 2kModtool...i export the arms texture from my iff, save it as arm.dds......then load it into gimp..edit it..save it as generate mipmaps and dtx1. Then i click import in the 2kmodtool importres and select my arm.dds....it tells me its loaded but shows this funky picture that looks messed up with stripes and double of the tattoo i added. In game the black stripes show up over my face..

As a general rule of thumb I only use 2K Mod Tool to export headshapes, most of the time it does not work well with textures. Use 3DM Mod Tool for importing and exporting textures.

I know how to import and export the cyberface but i've never done it for arm or face texture. How do i use it for that after i've loaded the iff into 3dm mod tool?

Maximus89, Same as the CF, but you save it as DTX 1 with no alpha

Hold down the middle mouse button while moving it (the mouse), also a combo of middle mouse and the shift key helps.

Yep I did exactly that but to no avail because I've discovered that when I try it with the Celtics court, it works... but when I try the same thing with the Bulls court, it doesn't. I think you should try with another default court like the Bulls to confirm and amend your tut to say it doesn't work with all courts.

Don't know if this has been done before but I was finally able to fix 2k's horrible parquet layout thanks to the UV tutorial and the 2kmodtool:

Thanks a lot Jao and NLSC!

I meant for the UV mapping. I had no doubt that fixing 2K's antiquated modeling issues took plenty of tedious time (Y) (Y)

How do you mark whole row in Roster Editor?

Two new tutorials, all the things you can edit in the Jerseys Tab of the Roster Editor, and how to Activate Hidden Players with that tool as well.

Hi JaoSming,

I really appreciate your tutorials and overall contributions to the community, much respect!

I thought I'd ask you about shoe colors, as I've read most everything I can find and am still confused. I'd simply like to assign shoes (Nike) for my squad whereby the shoes use a white base for home, and black for away. There are team colors in the jersey tab, yet there is also shoe color info on the players tab as well. Does one override the other? Also, I don't understand which shoes I'd need to assign in My Shoes that follow the home/away color codes.

I'd appreciate any and all insight you may have with this. Cheers, Tibs

i dont know, I dont experiment with shoes, well, I dont really do anything with shoes, so I dont know how they are assigned or work

the jersey tab tutorial covers shoe colors in regards to that uniform, which would have the white/black base color, but other than that I can't help you

Thanks man, I did some more research and figured it out! Most of the info was from Operation Sports forum, it may be helpful to put together a brief How-To on setting home and away shoe colors. It has to do with how the colors are set in the Shoe Editor and works like a charm. I'll gladly share if anyone's interested.
