November 2012 Summary
With the season now well under way, a surprise leader has emerged in the east. The 76ers are a game clear of the Bulls, Heat and Celtics.
At the other end is Washington, who are yet to win their first game this season. They have gone an amazing fourteen games without a win.
It isn't all doom and gloom for the Wizards though. The form of John Wall and Bradley Beal has been really outstanding despite all the losses.
Rather strangely both Wall and Beal won eastern conference player of the month and eastern conference rookie of the month, respectively.
Beal is currently leading the field in the rookie of the year race. He's averaging 18/4/4 and has started every one of their fourteen games.
There has been bad injury news for some teams. Stars Andre Iguodala, Joakim Noah and Manu Ginobili will all miss the rest of the season.Conference Standings

Sounds like a good plan. But could CP3 and Wall play on the same team or would I have to trade Wall? Doubt he would want to be a backup.
Oh and tanking would mean that I'm losing on purpose. Wish I was good enough to have the choice of winning or not.

Wizards increase the average age of their squad further with trade
After a terrible 0-14 start to the season, Washington GM Steve Kerr has decided to make a move in an attempt to improve their defense.
He has agreed to send Martell Webster, Jan Vesely and two second round picks to Detroit for veterans Corey Maggette and Jason Maxiell.
It's a pretty low risk move given that Maggette is on an expiring contract, whilst Maxiell's wage will drop from $5m to $2m after this season.
Detroit are moving forward with a rebuild of their own based around a promising core of Greg Monroe, Andre Drummond and Brandon Knight.
Webster and Vesely now join a younger supporting cast that also includes Rodney Stuckey, Jonas Jerebko, Kyle Singler and Khris Middleton.
After their dominance of the east during the early-to-mid 2000's, including a championship, the Pistons haven't made the playoffs since 2009.
They will be hoping that Monroe can develop into a superstar center and guide them back to the heights that they enjoyed for so many seasons.
Washington are having an absolutely horrendous season so far. Maybe it's not suprising though given they decided to go into full rebuild mode.
Having their two promising youngsters shoulder all of the burden probably isn't helping their cause either. Leading a franchise isn't an easy task.
Maggette should give the Wizards another scoring option. Nearly all of the pressure to score has been on guards John Wall and Bradley Beal so far.
He was averaging 14 points per game with the Pistons. Maxiell's rebounding will come in handy too. He was grabbing 9 per game off the bench.![]()
