Creating shoes: right format to export, settings to save,DDS

Thu Dec 13, 2012 12:26 am

Hi!

Who can explain: in what format I must export from .iff-file, what settings must be when I save from Photoshop (dds plugin, or bmp, or png)?
How can I find what settings should be?

And settings for dds plugin (Photoshop) to detailed green texture

Thanks in advance, Stas.

If I understand you correctly, you use 2k12 mod tool and 3DM 2k tool, click on your texture and it it will tell you what size and format it needs to be. In photoshop if the texture does not have a alpha texture under channels tab you will save as dds/DXT1 no alpha. If there is a alpha texture you will save as dds/DXT5 interpolated alpha.
