Hell of a day. Almost didn't bother with the Titans-Lions game. Glad I decided to watch it.
Also, y'all can stop trashing the Cardinals now.

Kolb sucks and will throw picks. Not saying that Vick won't throw picks though...
i was completely wrong about the Giants but Arizona looks pretty legit. Im curious to see how they do against SF in a month

It would be nice if that call made every sport/league reanalyze their officiating system, but I doubt it will. That call was horrible, the Packers should of won and everyone knows it.
Tue Sep 25, 2012 4:07 pm
I agree. Even though I like the Seahawks, never in a hundred years would that play be even a touchdown. NFL better get the regular refs back, or else a lot more bad things would happen.
Wed Sep 26, 2012 2:22 am
Great call, refs!
Wed Sep 26, 2012 2:33 am
The worst thing about that call is it's distracting everyone from the far worse DPI call earlier. And the questionable-at-best roughing call that wiped away a Packers interception.
Wed Sep 26, 2012 4:05 am
I hate the fact that I fell asleep midway through the first quarter. After reviewing replay after replay,i'd say the ruling on the field stands, the refs suck major ass.15 yard as whooping with a slash of pay.On a serious note. The league better get what the real refs want right away. This is bullshit.

Not to mention the no call for Offensive Pass Interference on Golden Tate, he clear as day pushes the defender to the ground, then says he didn't do anything of the sort later. Well replays don't lie. The NFL has even admitted the call was wrong, but did nothing about it, so it shows how broken the system is.

http://www.nypost.com/p/news/local/nj_p ... BfJbQmDP/1 The NFL cited the rule for simultaneous catch when defending the call and not overturning it, saying that the correct call of a touchdown was made.
“When the players hit the ground in the end zone, the officials determined that both Tate and Jennings had possession of the ball. Under the rule for simultaneous catch, the ball belongs to Tate, the offensive player.”
The NFL did admit one gaffe made on the final play however.
“While the ball is in the air, Tate can be seen shoving Green Bay cornerback Sam Shields to the ground,” the statement read. “This should have been a penalty for offensive pass interference, which would have ended the game. It was not called and is not reviewable in instant replay.”
SUCK IT PEOPLE.

Don't worry the government is already on this...
http://www.nydailynews.com/sports/footb ... -1.1168105 Sweeney, the general organizer for the Ironworkers International union's Philadelphia-New Jersey-Delaware region, said Tuesday that he's drafting legislation to bar replacement referees from NFL games and other professional sports in New Jersey, where the New York Giants and New York Jets both play.

I can't even watch the Panthers this season. I can't bring myself to watch a game, which is probably good for my sanity.

yeah just dont man. Its been ugly. Rivera has no idea what the fuck he's doing. ALso, if we pick Andy Reid, my fanship may have to go to the broncos.
its a weird season. Everytime you think its gotten predictable something crazy happens.

Hell not running the ball 40+ times with anyone. We have Deangelo Stewart, Tolbert, Cam. You'd think that'd be enough excuse to run the damn ball. I know our olines hurting but they arent that bad. I do like Greg Olsen getting some love and Brandon Lafells breaking out but thats just because smitty is being pissy again.
Also he's showing andy reid caliber understanding of clock management and when to go for the conversion.
