I want to change the age of my player. I made him to my likeness including age, and realized after playing half a season that my player will have a substantially shorter career than if I had made him 19 or 20.
Is it possible to change his age and if so, which tool would I use to do this? I play on PC.
Sorry if this has been asked before.

Several ways to do this...
Roster Editor:
viewtopic.php?f=149&t=88237Turbo Trainer:
viewtopic.php?f=149&t=88196 (easiest/quickest method)
Fantasy Trainer:
viewtopic.php?f=149&t=88452Or you can use a hex editor such as Cheat Engine and directly edit the address for birth year, 01D67F76 (1 byte).

Thanks, I used the turbo trainer. The roster editor is confusing to use. I don't understand what everything means. Is there a detailed manual on how to use it?

Is there a way to make you a "Star" player rather than become a "Starter"? I know it's just the title and all but it doesn't feel right for a 99 overall player.

Not sure if there is a guide for using the Roster Editor. Best bet would be to check through the thread. It's really powerful though and the most confusing thing about it is probably just knowing the player ID's. Player's aren't listed by name but by a number ID instead. You can easily get this ID by using the Fantasy Trainer, searching for the player by name, and it will show you their number ID at the top. Everything else is pretty straightforward.
As far as changing your player role to 'Star', the Turbo Trainer has an option for this but it has never worked for me. Anytime I change it it just clears my role completely and I end up with dashes in that section, so I'm not aware of any reliable method of doing this.

How? I would at least try.

Just load your career, then use the Turbo Trainer to change it. Click on the 'Player' tab first, then the one that says 'Floor Con'. You'll see the role option in the bottom left corner. Might want to get the English version (unless you understand Chinese). Also, make sure you are in the edit player screen when you make any changes or else they may not save.

ok, I tried it but it doesn't work. It's still says "Starter" even though I changed it into a "Star" in turbo trainer. Thanks for the help though.

Would changing my height to 8'0 crash the game every time I play? I think that's what's happening to me. I'm trying to be an 8-foot point guard.

Most likely.
